  • Big Chief's Freak Incident As He Loses A Door at High Speed

The Monday night edition of Street Outlaws on Discovery Channel saw the popular stars of the show take their street racing skills to the historic Thunder Valley Raceway in Bristol, Tennessee. In a massive no prep race, drivers competed for the $100,000 total purse. Participants included the stars of Street Outlaws New Orleans and some of the biggest names in the world of no prep track racing. Big Chief emerged as the winner, taking home the $60,000 prize, but it was not an easy win. During the eliminations, he faced off against fellow Top 10 List resident Doc in his Street Beast Monte Carlo. Doc is one of the few people who can claim to have beaten Big Chief on the 405 streets. The competition was intense, and the stakes were high as every driver battled it out for the coveted prize money. Photo by Discovery Fans of the show Street Outlaws are well aware of the intense battles that Doc and Chief have had on both the street and the track. Despite Doc's recent run of bad luck on the program, his car remains capable of outrunning almost anyone at any given time. With the Midwest Street Cars crew, Chief had the new Crow finely tuned and ready to take on the tricky Bristol track with hopes that its big rear tires will offer a firm grip while the Butler Performance Pontiac engine exerted full power. Photo by National No Prep Racing Association During their race, Doc appeared to take a more cautious approach, holding back his nitrous flames until he was further down the track. In contrast, Big Chief seized the opportunity at the flash of the green light and charged ahead of Doc. As the Crow widened its lead, the Street Beast began to move towards the center line, which prompted Doc to make a wise decision and shut down his car. Despite crossing the finish line first, Chief's vehicle experienced the bizarre incident of its passenger door flying off and tumbling onto the track. However, Chief continued the race, taping the door back on with duct tape and proceeding to finish eliminations with it in that condition. Yet, this minor inconvenience did not hinder Chief's momentum or motivation as he pursued the ultimate goal-victory and claiming the top spot in the race. Photo by National No Prep Racing Association By watching this video from National No Prep Racing Association, fans of Street Outlaws had a front-row seat to witness the dedication, skill, and drive of both Doc and Chief on the track. Although Chief's vehicle experienced a mishap during the race, he remained undeterred, and it didn't stop him from crossing the finish line first. His unwavering determination showed that in street racing, anything is possible when you're determined to win. Video by National No Prep Racing Association

  • This Is The Sickest Truck From Ekstensive Metal Works

There is no dearth of automotive fabrication shops in the United States. While Florida is renowned for Trans Am Depot and Trans Am Worldwide, the people of Texas can vouch for Ekstensive Metal Works. Ekstensive Metal Works is one of the most respected custom automotive design and fabrication shops in the industry. The Texas automotive shop specializes in one-off cars and trucks. Most of these one-off vehicles at Ekstensive Metal Works were once just pieces of rust. The brilliant minds at the Texas automotive shop turn rust wrecks into outrageous, enviable cars and trucks. However, which vehicle is the best of the lot at Ekstensive Metal Works? Which truck trumps all the other vehicles at the Texas workshop? Let's have a detailed look at the sickest truck from Ekstensive Metal Works. A GMC Special Photo by hotcars The sickest truck at Ekstensive Metal Works is a GMC monster. And it doesn't get any better than a mid-2000s GMC beast. If you love trucks, you must be aware of GMC's elite reputation when it comes to pickups and trucks. Ever since its inception, the brand has always specialized in big and bulky vehicles - SUVs, pickups, vans, and light-duty trucks, and more. While today, GMC trucks are offered as a premium alternative to Chevrolet trucks, it wasn't always the case a few years back. The sickest truck at Ekstensive Metal Works is a throwback to 2006: a third-generation Kodiak beast. The Kodiak was quite a rage back in the day and garnered plenty of headlines in the automotive industry. During its reign, the heavy-duty monster was offered in multiple variants: a school bus, a pickup truck, and Cadillac One (a one-of-a-kind Cadillac body mounted on the GMC Kodiak chassis). The Ekstensive Metal Works truck was, of course, a pickup truck variant. Also dubbed as the Isuzu H Series in some parts of the world, the GMC Kodiak pickup truck was offered in multiple engine (diesel and gasoline) and transmission variants. Completely Built By Ekstensive Metal Works What makes this sick truck special is the fact that it has been completely built by Ekstensive Metal Works. The GMC Kodiak 6500 has run a total of 12ok miles. Bill and his team have worked immensely hard and spent a total of over 100k on this monster's parts and build. It features a Dodge bed that has been chopped, stretched, and widened to fit the chassis. The truck features Chevrolet fenders graphed on bedsides. Apart from a spray-in bed liner and a mounted toolbox, the Kodiak 6500's bed features 4 x 10-inch Rockford Fosgate marine speakers in bed. The Kodiak truck has 2 sunroofs and features a custom center console with a built-in 48-quart ice chest that drains through the floor. It boasts newer Denali headlights molded into the front end. The folks at Ekstensive Metal Works channeled the front bumper and installed new flights. The truck has been body-dropped, with full "extensive" air ride and fully custom suspension, including 4 links and wish-bones. Its motor has received recent injector replacements. With 2 air tanks and 4 compressors, the GMC Kodiak can propel to speeds in excess of 70 miles per hour. It can go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just about 15 seconds - pretty impressive for a super cool pickup truck that can tow the heaviest of objects and vehicles. This sick truck's interiors were completely redone by Heath Moore 2 years ago. Heath customized the steering wheels with train horns. The truck cabin was reinforced and stretched by a further 2 inches. This super cool truck has also featured on the cover of 8-Lug and Truckin' magazines.

The 1959 Chevrolet Corvette went for $42,250 in this auction. It had a replacement 350 cubic inch V8 engine, a three-speed automatic transmission, and 55,000 miles on the odometer. Such as a 1976 Jaguar XJ 12L Series II Sedan and a 1979 Porsche 928. While the Jaguar managed to go for just $10,750, the Porsche brought home a respectable $46,000 in this auction. Richard Rawlings Also Gave Away Trucks, Choppers, And Hotrods Several trucks were also a part of this massive Gas Monkey Garage auction. The list included a 1987 Chevrolet R30 Chassis Cab Utility Truck, a modified 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 4x4, a 1957 Ford F-100, and a 1976 Ford F-250 Ranger XLT Super Cab 4x4. These went for $11,500, $32,500, $7,700, and $31,750, respectively. Custom Harley-Davidson Panhead Chopper Besides cars and trucks, Richard Rawlings also has a special place in his heart for custom-built choppers. His collection included an Easyrider Custom Chopper and a Custom Harley-Davidson Panhead Chopper. They were also auctioned and brought home $44,444 and $24,999, respectively. Photo by Gas Monkey Garage The Gas Monkey Garage's car collection would be incomplete without a few hotrods, and so would this auction. Richard decided to sell his 1932 Ford 5-Window Coupe Hot Rod in this auction, and the highest bid received for this was $55,000. The iconic Ford Model T Custom Hot Rod, also known as the 'King T,' was also a part of the listing and went for $75,000. Photo by Gas Monkey Garage Other unique classic cars that went up for sale in this auction include a 1936 Ford Model 68 Delux Roadster, which went for $39,750, a 1966 Ford Fairlane 500 hardtop, which went for $20,500, a 1950 Ford Custom Delux Club Coupe, which went for $16,750, and a 1986 Zimmer Quick Silver that brought Richard Rawlings $24,000. The auction also has some older cars up for grabs, such as the 1930 Ford Model A Tudor Sedan, a 1937 Ford Model 78 Coupe, and a 1929 Ford Model A Tudor Sedan. Maximum bids on each of them stood at $15,000, $20,000, and $15,000, respectively. 'Normal Cars' From The Gas Monkey Auction 2022 Ford Bronco Badlands V6 4-Door There was also a brand-new 2022 Ford Bronco Badlands 4-door on offer in the Gas Monkey Garage auction, bringing home $73,000. It had a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine and 26,000 miles on the odometer. The highest bid placed for this JDM car was $48,000. A 1993 Toyota Supra was also a part of Richard's car collection. This iconic two-seater sports car brought him an impressive $121,000 in this auction. The Winners, The Losers, And The Best Deals 1993 Toyota Supra Turbo There were some winners and losers in this auction. The biggest winner, of course, was Richard Rawlings. But, regarding the cars that went up for sale, a few managed to crank up huge returns, while some brought home not-so-great value. 1957 Ford F-100 3-Speed car that got the highest bid was the 1993 Toyota Supra Turbo, with just 16,000 miles on its odometer. It sold for an impressive $121,000. On the other hand, the 1957 Ford F-100, which was not in excellent condition to begin with, sold for just $7,700, the least of the entire lot. However, for Richard, the F-100 and the Ford Model T 'King T', and the Panhead were among some great deals. Richard Rawlings Made Over $1 Million From The Famous Auction The main reason Richard Rawlings decided to sell his entire car collection was simple. He wanted to update his current flock of cars with new and exclusive models. And hence, he plans to use the money gained from this auction to fulfill this dream. Most of the cars from his collection sold for a decent sum, earning him an impressive $1,080,903. But then, Richard's total profit will be determined after he factors in the money spent on buying and restoring these cars.

  • Caddy Jack's Roar Sounds Insane In Heart-wrenching Day

Rarely has a photo of a car had such a great impact on the entire audience connected to the street racing world and it seems that everybody is now talking about it. Yes, we are talking about Big Chief’s Small Block Caddy Jack’s. Photo by Midwest Street Cars Over the years we have been watching Big Chief and Jackie as they load up the famous Crow and take it around the country to race whenever they would be able to, be it on the streets or at the track. Since Big Chief decided to tell the producers of the Street Outlaws that he quits and that racing for them has lost the fun that he vividly remembers he had back in the day when the entire thing started, he has been in the company of Jackie and they have been making their own videos without the big production crews. It has been nearly two months with only a couple of videos from this couple putting together a small tire nitrous Caddy named Jack. They are now back and the fans are beyond excited to see them back on platform. Yes, Jackie is about to take the car on an open road, along with the slick tires, parachute in the back and the rest of the racing goodies. Photo by Midwest Street Cars Just about anything has to feel like a slug after you get out from behind the wheel of the Crow but this Caddie certainly is no slouch as it’s been hooked up with a collection of modifications from a full exhaust to a custom camshaft and a whole slew of other goodies that put the supercharged machine in action! With just a couple of choice changes, these cars have been known to be put on a new level, surprising people as to what a heavy luxury car is capable of. As per Big Chief's talk, the ride in the Caddy is going to be bittersweet, because this was the car that she was supposed to race against her dad who has been racing since before she was born. Unfortunately, her dad has passed away so cannot see the next season of racing which he has been preparing for lately. This is the reason Big Chief and Jackie had taken a break from YouTube. So check out a very emotional video of these guys. Video by Midwest Street Cars

  • JJ Da Boss is Mad at Boosted GT About Mega Cash Days!!!

As we get closer to the next Mega Cash Days that is being hosted by Chris “Boosted” Hamilton, it appears that many of the racers would like to tell everybody what they are bringing in order to try and scare them. At the same time, all the drivers are getting ready for the event and after we have shown you Kye Kelley’s Street Shocker, Reaper’s Vette and Justin Swanstrom’s small tire car, it is time to visit team Memphis and see what JJ Da boss and his crew are preparing for the event. As the entire event will be small tire cars, this is why the Memphis crew is putting smaller rubber on their street racer cars to be able to fit the rules of the event. The rules are pretty simple, steel roof and quarters, small tires, and no all-wheel drive cars, is what Chris Boosted is expecting the racers to bring, and that means no fiberglass bodies on top of tube chassis cars. Boosted also mentioned that he is aware that some manufacturers have started producing so-called “cheater tires”, that have smaller sizes printed on their sidewall in order to be able to enter an event, however, he says he will be ready for this so do not even try it. Well, as always JJ Da Boss has something to say about this, and like always he will repeat it a few times before he is sure that everybody has heard what he has to say. JJ wants everybody to know that his cars are street cars, unlike the cars that the No Prep guys are going to be bringing to the street, and although he is not mentioning any names, it is obvious that he is not happy with the rest of the line-up of the event. So check out his video and hear what he has to say about this. Video by The Real Streetoutlaws

  • Top Insane Moments in Street Outlaws

Street Outlaws is one of those shows that always brings us more action than we can ask for. Simply put, the idea of taking high-powered race cars and throwing them on the street to have competitive racers going head-to-head is enough to really keep us glued to our screens. Beyond that, the show also digs into the lives of these competitors and what exactly it means to dedicate themselves to racing on such a high level. The long story short is that it isn’t as simple as hopping behind the wheel of a car and mashing a gas pedal. The result is something that has drawn the attention of fans over a ton of seasons and several different spinoffs shows as well. While we absolutely love tuning in to catch just about every variation of Street Outlaws on the air these days, it’s no secret that the show has come a long way from what it once was. We’re not just talking about the production but the actual content is almost unrecognizable to the former days of the grassroots crew from the 405. With that, we find a whole new list of challenges and tribulations that these guys go through in order to make it to the top. Photo by Discovery Australia This time, we check in with a compilation of some of the insane moments from Street Outlaws in season 6. From the big moment that showcases Chief and Shawn split up at Midwest Street Cars to list shake-ups and some severe crashes shaking everybody to their core, the Street Outlaws season 6 is one of the craziest so far. Photo by Discovery Australia By following along with the video below, we dive into some of the moments from Street Outlaws season 6 that we will simply never forget. As the year has seemed to breeze past us in a hurry, it has certainly left behind some moments that will go down in Street Outlaws history. Video by Discovery Australia

  • This Is When "We Can't Be Friends" Happens Again

Before we start talking about the video, we believe we have to give you some context as to why these guys are saying what they are saying about Robin Roberts. Last year, in an episode of Street Outlaws No Prep Kings from New England Dragway, Mega Cash Days winner Brandon James defeated Robin Roberts. But after losing that race, Robin pressured Brandon and told him that if he goes across the scales after the race, they cannot be friends anymore. From the angle of the starting line, it appeared like James may have jumped. However, the green light was on, which meant that it was a clean pass. Unless there was a glitch, the red light would have come on had James truly jumped. Robin wife was not pleased following the pass. She claimed that James had jumped. Yet, James, who is in his first season of No Prep Kings, claimed; however, that he was super lucky on the light. Photo by Discovery On the top end, Roberts also claimed, like his wife, that James had jumped. Then, the cameras caught Roberts and James talking to each other. The Team X driver forced James, who is representing Team California, to miss the scales. This disqualified James. And result, it allowed Roberts to advance to the next round. He said “If you don’t go over the scales, the we’re good. We just be friends anymore.” Video by Discovery The internet went crazy over this and many lost respects for Robin Roberts for his behavior. Now that you are all caught up, let’s talk about what happens in this video from the Tucson Dragway event. Photos by StreetOutlawVids As both blue cars sit right next to each other, Robin Roberts lights the first bulb and since his engine is powered by a twin-turbo setup, you would expect him to start building boost. Odom in his screw-blown Nissan GTR gives him about five seconds before he goes in and lights both bulbs, just like many other racers do. Knowing that there are seven seconds to light the top bulb, it looks like Robin panicked and messed up the entire staging procedure. This resulted in him turning on the red light which basically gave the win to Odom before his light even turned green. Robin wife was just mad about this and Robin was not pleased talking with Odom. Let’s check out below video to see what he talked about this. Video by StreetOutlawVids

  • Dominator's Final Pass of NPK 2022!

When it comes to No Prep Kings, sure, we can watch what unfolds on television. However, with the way that things are today, seemingly everybody has their own YouTube channel which gives spectators another opportunity entirely. Since the show began, Dominator, whose real name is Joe Woods, has quietly built quite a large following as one of the most likable guys on television. While he’s maintained his spot on the list since filming began with the exception of one very short hiatus, he’s managed to so without the aid of a huge budget or a large crew helping him along the way. In this video, we get to find out a lot more about Dominator's last pass of NPK 2022 and what goes into his operation. Photo by Dragzine Those who know Joe know him as a good guy who works his butt off to do what he loves, and what he loves is racing. When the show started, Dominator was running a pretty basic setup that just happened to work really well in his beloved Dodge Dart. The 632” workhorse had just one carb and a healthy dose of nitrous, and the chassis just really worked well. In fact, you’ll hear, in his own words, what happened the first time he raced the car on the street and how it immediately hooked him on the street racing lifestyle. Photo by Dragzine Like the rest of the cars on the show, Dominator’s Dart has evolved to keep up with the ever-changing demands of keeping a spot on the 405’s Top 10 list, as well as staying ahead of the out-of-town competition. • Catching Ryan Martin, Daddy Dave and Murder Nova Behind The Scenes of Mega Cash Days 2022

When we tune in to Street Outlaws, we naturally only get a small portion of what’s actually happening. In the scheme of things, this is kind of how television works. The producers behind the show are faced with the task of taking endless hours of content and cramming them down into a consumable version that can be aired on television. Naturally, they kind of have to pick their story to tell and stick with it. With this in mind, there can be a ton that ends up left out of the production that’s still pretty interesting. Sometimes, maybe the powers that be just find that this content isn’t consumable enough for mainstream television. Other times, there is just simply too much content and some good stuff has to go. New season of Mega Cash Days comes along with new challenge for all of the competitors. It might seem like a constant battle to get better. As the rules are changed from NPK to the Mega Cash Days format, this means new cars, new setups, and even more time making sure that every detail falls perfectly in place to give every racer their best chance of going home with the cash and bragging rights. The right to say that you looked some of the fierce competitors in the eye and managed to reign supreme is certainly something worth striving for. This time, thanks to a vlog from Ryan Martin (Fireball Camaro), we get to ride along with the initial stages of what goes into such a production. Photo by Fireball Camaro First and foremost, we watch as competitors prepare their cars to go to battle. Again, for lots of these racers, they are starting with fresh builds so it’s going to take some serious time to get the cards dialed in before they are fully capable of making their best passes down the street. The vlog gives us a unique opportunity to see the gears turning behind the scenes to push toward the top. Photo by Fireball Camaro Perhaps most importantly, we also get to check out Ryan Martin’s breakfast skills on the grill. Catch it all in the video below. Video by Fireball Camaro
