  • Street Outlaws Locals Only - Newest Series in Discovery Channel's Street Outlaws Universe

Farmtruck and AZN, beloved fan favorites from the original Street Outlaws show, have stepped away from the main program. The main reason behind their absence appears to be their reluctance to construct a high-performance race car that can compete with the advanced machines currently featured on the show. However, the strong bond between the duo and their fans has motivated Discovery to offer them their own spinoff series. Earlier this year, the duo headlined a show named after themselves, where they showcased their unique and unconventional vehicle builds that have made them famous. As of now, there is no official information about the renewal or cancellation of the show, but we have heard that Team Farmtruck and AZN will be back with another exciting television project. Photo by Farmtruck and AZN With the newest Street Outlaws spinoff titled “Locals Only,” Farmtruck and AZN will embark on a journey across the United States, visiting various racetracks in search of the fastest local drivers. With a renewed focus on returning the programming to its original essence of relatability, producers are actively exploring the idea of featuring individuals in this particular show who lead ordinary lives, working throughout the week and indulging in racing during the weekends. While these competitors may not consider racing as their full-time occupation, it doesn't mean that some of them don't possess impressive and highly competitive racing machines in their garages. Photo by Street Outlaws The competition will follow a bracket-style, single elimination format, with top drivers from Idaho, New Hampshire, Texas, Pennsylvania, and other locations battling it out. The ultimate winner will receive a $5,000 prize and the opportunity to race against a seasoned Street Outlaw driver from the 'No Prep Kings' series, such as Lizzy Musi, Daddy Dave, Jermaine Boddie, or Kye Kelley, among others, for another $5,000. Photo by Street Outlaws Discovery Channel's Street Outlaws universe consists of several shows, including "Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings," "Street Outlaws: OKC," "Street Outlaws: Mega Cash Days," "Street Outlaws: Fastest in America," and upcoming series, "Street Outlaws: Locals Only" and "Street Outlaws vs. The World: Australia." • A 405 Star Get Back on Track at The Top Level of No Prep Kings Season 6

According to a recent Street Outlaws No Prep Talk video, Doc's Heavy Metal Nova has undergone significant updates in preparation for the upcoming No Prep Kings Season 6. Previously owned by Adam Flamhawk, the car had an outdated chassis that struggled to handle the power of a screw blown Hemi engine, resulting in Doc facing challenges while competing in previous seasons. Photo by Street Beast "Doc" During the winter and spring, Doc took the car to Mickey's Chassis Works for a series of updates. These included the installation of a new carbon fiber front end and doors, as well as improvements to the chassis. The goal was to reduce weight, as the previous fiberglass panels had been repaired multiple times and had become quite heavy. Photo by Street Beast "Doc" These updates have the potential to make a substantial difference in Doc's performance this season. If the car can meet the minimum weight requirement of 27.50, it will be 100 pounds lighter than last season. With the same horsepower and an improved chassis, Doc now has the opportunity to compete and excel in the upcoming No Prep Kings season. Doc's Heavy Metal Nova faced challenges in previous seasons, but with these updates, it could become a strong contender for top positions. The car's new Hemi engine, built by well-known Pro Mod engine builder Adam Flamhawk, provides the necessary horsepower. With a lighter car and an enhanced chassis, Doc now stands a real chance of performing well in this season. Doc has faced struggles throughout his racing history, especially with the OG Monte Carlo, which was nitrous-powered and too heavy to compete effectively. The Firebird also failed to make a significant impact in the previous season. However, with the updates to the Heavy Metal Nova, Doc could finally regain his momentum and compete at the highest level in No Prep Kings. Photo by Street Beast "Doc"

  • Big Chief Admitted He Doesn’t Regret Leaving Street Outlaws

Big Chief from Street Outlaws has revealed he doesn’t regret leaving the show at all, as fans continue to ask where he is. Many ask whether he’s returning to the series but he’s made no announcements of a comeback. Chief, aka Justin Shearer, has been in the OKC street racing game since age nine when he’d ride his bike to watch the races on Route 66. He also sat out for America’s List and hasn’t appeared on No Prep Kings for a while. Big Chief is now focusing on his company Midwest Street Cars after leaving Street Outlaws. He often shares YouTube videos where he builds cars, tests them on the race track and even takes part in street racing. His company also offers fans the chance to join their patreon. He told viewers on social media at the start of 2022 that he took some time off from the show to focus on his family and the workshop, as well as to relax. He also previously confirmed on Instagram that he is sitting the latest America’s List out. Both Big Chief and his partner Jackie have said multiple times that they are done with Street Outlaws. Photo by Big Chief OKC When a fan asked Big Chief on Instagram, “So how’s giving up everything working out for you?” The former Street Outlaws star responded to them with: “I’m loving every single minute of it!” Photo by Big Chief OKC Big Chief has made no announcements of return on Street Outlaws. When asked if he is the race master for Street Outlaws: America’s List in 2022, he said no. Co-star Shawn will fill that role, which Big Chief said “doesn’t surprise him.” He said: “Everyone on the show respects and admires Shawn for his years in the game. Things change, people change. I think his personality is much better suited for the racemaster position than I am.” This is despite Big Chief supposedly being the cast member to suggest the entire idea for America’s List. He doesn’t have any hard feelings about it and continues to get involved in racing outside of Street Outlaws. He addresses his exit from Discovery series Big Chief made a YouTube video in April 2022 on his exit from Street Outlaws, and what fans can expect in the future from him. He said he went down to race on the 405 show and was told to stay an extra day to do the final shoot. He said he was really excited to be preparing to appear on America’s List but felt that “some of the [racing] rules needed to be adjusted.” Big Chief said: “I’ve built my whole life around street racing. A lot of people are saying I was broken or didn’t make it in, but I went down there and I was in. Every year it’s something different”. “I’m not that guy. I don’t do that, I’m not the guy that changes his combo just because that’s what the fast guys are supposedly running nowadays. If my s***’s not fast enough, then I work on it, I spend money on it.” Check out latest video from Midwest Street Car, in which Big Chief was taking Caddy Jack to the Racetrack for the first time and making a few shakedown passes! • Daddy Dave and Jerry Bird FIGHT??

Street Outlaws NPK (No Prep Kings) is known for its high-octane races, fierce rivalries, and adrenaline-fueled moments. In the midst of the thrilling competition, tensions can sometimes reach a boiling point. The 2021 season of Street Outlaws NPK witnessed a heated clash between two prominent racers, Daddy Dave and Jerry Bird. As emotions ran high and egos collided, an intense confrontation unfolded, leaving fans on the edge of their seats. Join us as we delve into the details of this fiery encounter and the repercussions it had on the world of street racing. Photo by CPaulshock Photography If there were any doubts about the existence of animosity between Jerry Bird and the rest of the 405 crew, those doubts have been completely dispelled. During their previous encounters in street races, Jerry Bird has repeatedly voiced his concerns about the 405 crew altering their rules to manipulate the outcome when faced with a challenge. On the other hand, Daddy Dave maintains that he has always treated Jerry with nothing but respect and fairness, never resorting to underhanded tactics. Photo by StreetOutlawVids Regardless of their differing perspectives, it is clear that this time it was Jerry who engaged in unsportsmanlike conduct by anticipating the light. Shawn "Murder Nova" Ellington, Jerry "Monza," and the rest of the 405 crew, who were present at the starting line, were in disbelief when Jerry wasn't disqualified for jumping the light. They were certain that he had made a premature start. The issue for them was that although Jerry did jump the light, his car did not move far enough to break the beam before the green light illuminated. While this jump would result in disqualification on the street, the equipment used in this race deemed it a perfect anticipation rather than a false start. Naturally, Daddy Dave is deeply dissatisfied with the outcome of the race. Consequently, there were some heated exchanges between the two racers after the event. Each firmly believes they are in the right, further escalating the tension between them.
