This car was a staple in the early days of Street Outlaws , battling it out with other fan favorites like The Crow and the Farmtruck. However, as the seasons went on and the competition heated up, the Murder Nova faced its share of challenges. There were times when it seemed like the car might fall behind as other racers pushed the envelope with new technology and faster builds. Photo by Murder Nova  But that’s the thing about the Murder Nova—it’s always been about more than just speed. It’s about perseverance. • Justin Swanstrom's New No Prep Kings Mustang 'Blood Pressure' is Making Great Progress!

Hey, Street Outlaws fans! Welcome back to Street Outlaws Talks, your go-to source for all things No Prep Kings and street racing. Today, we're diving into some exciting news about Justin Swanstrom and his latest ride, the 'Blood Pressure' Mustang. This beast is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated builds in the No Prep Kings circuit! Photo by Justin Swanstrom As many of you know, Justin Swanstrom is no stranger to the No Prep Kings scene. He's been turning heads and making waves with his impressive driving skills and equally impressive cars. Just recently, Justin shared some awesome updates on his Facebook page about his new No Prep Kings Mustang, and it's clear that this build is moving along at breakneck speed! The Builder Behind 'Blood Pressure' So, who’s behind the magic of this new Mustang? The folks at Wizard Race Cars are taking the helm once again. If that name sounds familiar, it's because they're the same wizards (pun intended) who built Justin’s previous ride, ‘Bad Blood.’ And let me tell you, they are known for building cars incredibly fast – and we’re not just talking about speed on the track! To give you an idea of their efficiency, 'Bad Blood' was essentially built in just five months! Sure, the wiring took a bit longer, but getting a car of that caliber ready in such a short time is nothing short of amazing. It looks like the new Mustang will follow the same timeline, with plans to be finished by November. That’s lightning speed for a ground-up, purpose-built No Prep Kings car! What to Expect from 'Blood Pressure' Building a car from scratch is no small feat, especially when it’s designed specifically for the high-stakes world of No Prep Kings. These cars need to be both incredibly fast and incredibly durable, with the ability to handle the unpredictable conditions of no prep racing. The team at Wizard Race Cars certainly has their work cut out for them, but if their past work is any indication, 'Blood Pressure' is going to be a force to be reckoned with. Photo by Justin Swanstrom Justin's current car, 'Bad Blood,' is already a testament to the quality of Wizard Race Cars' builds. Although it’s a relatively new car, having started racing earlier this year, it's already proven itself by winning an NPK event. That’s not to say it hasn’t had its share of challenges; like any new car, it’s taken some time to get it dialed in. But Justin and his team are getting a handle on it, and it's only getting faster and more consistent with each pass. Looking Ahead: More Races, More Wins? As for Justin, he’s currently sitting at number six in the points standings, which is no small feat considering the level of competition in the No Prep Kings series. With a few more races left in the season, there’s still plenty of opportunity for him to climb the rankings. And who knows? With the new Mustang nearing completion, we might just see him snagging a few more wins before the year is out. We also got a sneak peek recently of Todd Fon behind the wheel of 'Bad Blood,' and it looks like he’ll be joining the NPK action next year. It’s always exciting to see new drivers entering the fray, especially when they’re piloting a car as powerful as 'Bad Blood.' With Justin in the new Mustang and Todd potentially racing the Lexus, it’s going to be one heck of a season next year! Photo by Justin Swanstrom Stay Tuned for More Updates! That’s all for now, folks! As always, we’re here to bring you the latest and greatest from the No Prep Kings world. • What Really Happened to AZN from Street Outlaws and Why Did He Step Back from the Spotlight?

Jeff Bonnett, widely known by his nickname AZN, is a beloved cast member of the Discovery Channel’s reality TV show Street Outlaws. Together with his close friend and partner Sean Whitley, better known as Farmtruck, AZN has been a prominent figure on the show, known for his humor and unique car builds. Photo by Farmtruck and AZN  Background and Rise to Fame Before becoming a television personality, AZN's life revolved around cars and the automotive culture. Growing up, AZN developed a passion for cars, which eventually led him to street racing. He first gained attention for his quick wit and natural ability to engage with audiences, a skill that complemented Farmtruck's impressive driving and car-building abilities. The duo initially gained popularity for their unconventional racing vehicles, such as the "Farmtruck," an unassuming-looking 1970 Chevy C-10 that packed a surprising punch on the streets. The two were initially uncertain about their participation in Street Outlaws . In fact, before the show took off, they held regular jobs and only pursued street racing as a casual hobby. However, their engaging personalities and unique dynamic quickly made them fan favorites. Since the show's debut in 2013, AZN and Farmtruck have brought a sense of humor and camaraderie to the often intense world of street racing. What Happened to AZN? In recent years, fans have noticed that AZN and Farmtruck were less present in Street Outlaws  and its various spin-offs. This absence led to speculation and concern among viewers. However, there’s no need to worry—AZN and Farmtruck are doing just fine. They have been busy with their spin-off series, Street Outlaws: Farmtruck and AZN , which premiered in 2022. This show gives fans an in-depth look at their unique car builds and showcases their creative process and teamwork. The spin-off emphasizes their deep connection to the Midwestern car culture and highlights their hands-on approach to building and racing cars. Photo by Farmtruck and AZN  Beyond the spin-off, AZN and Farmtruck continue to be active within the car community. They've been working on several new projects and builds, always striving to push the limits of what their vehicles can do. AZN has also started focusing on driving more himself, moving beyond his role as the witty sidekick and into the driver's seat of his own projects. One notable project is his work on "The Dung Beetle," a 1966 Volkswagen Beetle that looks unassuming on the outside but is equipped with a powerful turbocharged engine. This car perfectly encapsulates AZN's style: combining humor with high-performance mechanics. Life Off Camera AZN’s life off-camera is quite grounded. Despite his fame, he hasn’t let it get to his head. He and Farmtruck continue to engage with their fans through various platforms, including social media and their YouTube channel, where they share behind-the-scenes content and updates on their latest projects. They also participate in various racing events and car shows, maintaining their presence in the street racing community. Photo by Farmtruck and AZN  The duo has also managed to capitalize on their fame without straying from their roots. While they may not have become extremely wealthy from the show, they’ve used their platform to attract sponsorships and promote their brand, creating a sustainable business around their passion for cars and racing. Conclusion AZN’s journey from a street racer in Oklahoma City to a reality TV star is a testament to his love for cars and his commitment to the automotive community. Together with Farmtruck, he has created a unique niche within the world of street racing, blending humor with a deep respect for car culture. While they may not be as visible on Street Outlaws  as they once were, AZN and Farmtruck continue to make an impact, showing that their passion for cars is as strong as ever. Their new ventures and ongoing projects indicate that they are far from done, and fans can look forward to seeing much more from this dynamic duo in the future.

  • Scott Taylor Takes a Leap into Pro Mod Racing with New Camaro

Hey Street Outlaws fans! Buckle up, because Scott Taylor is shifting gears and taking a big step into the Pro Mod arena. If you’re a fan of high-octane racing and exciting new developments, you’re in for a treat. Photo by Scott Taylor Motorsports  Recently, Scott Taylor, a familiar name from the No Prep Kings (NPK) scene, dropped a bombshell on us with a sneak peek of his latest project: a Pro Mod Camaro. The reveal has everyone buzzing, and for good reason. This isn’t just any Camaro; it’s set to be a serious contender in the Pro Mod world. From the photos, it’s clear this Camaro is built for speed. It features a distinctive Pro Mod front end and a significant cut-out in the hood for a screw blower. Scott Taylor, who previously made headlines by returning to ProCharger on his NPK ride, has now set his sights on something new. He recently sold "Little Goldie," his well-known Camaro, which is now in the hands of Chris Franken. Taylor is reportedly building another NPK car—a 1969 Camaro—but this new Pro Mod project is stealing the spotlight. Taylor’s move isn’t isolated. Several other NPK racers are eyeing Pro Mod racing, including heavyweights like Kai Kelly, Justin Swanstrom, and Mike Bowman. Bowman, in particular, is no stranger to the Pro Mod scene and brings a wealth of experience. This winter, the Pro Mod action heats up with events like the Snowbirds World Series of Pro Mod, where winners can take home a jaw-dropping $150,000. It’s clear that Pro Mod racing offers both prestige and a hefty purse. Photo by Scott Taylor Motorsports  In the Pro Mod world, eighth-mile racing is king, and it’s incredibly competitive. We've already seen Street Outlaws competitors dabbling in this arena with varying degrees of success. For example, Mike Bowman and Cold Pez made headlines by qualifying at the World DEA Pro Mod event earlier this year, while Justin Swanstrom missed the cut. With these high stakes and fierce competition, it’s an exciting time to be a fan of Pro Mod racing. Scott Taylor’s new Camaro is set to be a formidable player in this competitive field. Though he’s selling his older Hemis and likely picking up new ones to keep up with the demands of Pro Mod racing, this new Camaro is expected to be powered by a ProCharger Hemi setup. This contrasts with many of his peers, who are opting for screw-blown configurations. It will be interesting to see how Taylor’s choice impacts his performance on the track. As we look ahead to the upcoming Pro Mod events, it’s clear that Street Outlaws racers are ready to make a mark in this thrilling new chapter. Taylor’s Camaro is just the beginning, and we’re excited to see how all the players stack up. Stay tuned for more updates and insights from the world of Street Outlaws, where the action never stops and the excitement is always at full throttle! • Procharger vs. Screw Blower: A Deep Dive into No Prep Kings Season 7

Welcome back to StreetOutlawsTalks.com , where we dive deep into the world of Street Outlaws and everything that makes the No Prep Kings (NPK) series so exhilarating. Today, we’re focusing on a hot topic of debate: the ongoing battle between Procharger and Screw Blower setups in No Prep Kings Season 7. Buckle up as we explore how these two powerhouse combinations stack up on the unforgiving surfaces of no-prep tracks. Photo by Mallory Elizabeth Photography  The Battle of Boost: Procharger vs. Screw Blower If you’ve been following No Prep Kings this season, you know the Procharger and Screw Blower combos are two of the most talked-about setups in the series. Each has its strengths and weaknesses, and the question everyone’s asking is: which one has the upper hand? Procharger Combos: Procharger setups have been a dominant force this season. With a clear advantage in terms of adaptability to no-prep surfaces, Prochargers have won 8 out of the 11 races so far. This success is partly due to the Procharger’s ability to adjust more easily to less-than-ideal track conditions. They produce about 13-14 lbs of boost at the starting line, which, while less than the Screw Blower’s initial output, allows for more consistent application of power on tricky surfaces. Photo by Mallory Elizabeth Photography  Screw Blower Combos: On the flip side, Screw Blower combinations, like those used by Jim Hal, Justin Swanstrom, and Ryan Martin with the Fireball Camaro, have made their mark, clinching 3 wins this season. Screw Blowers deliver significantly more boost off the line—around 40 lbs—but this power can be hard to manage on sketchy tracks. Their larger boost numbers can be a double-edged sword: while they offer immense power, they struggle to put it all down effectively on tracks that aren’t prepped. Track Conditions and Their Impact The key difference this season has been the track surfaces. No Prep Kings tracks are notoriously unpredictable and less forgiving compared to the prepped surfaces seen in other racing series. On prepped tracks like those used in the PDRA events, Screw Blowers might have an edge due to their higher boost capabilities. However, NPK’s rougher surfaces seem to favor the more tunable Procharger setups. Photo by Mallory Elizabeth Photography  Ryan Martin’s experience with the Fireball Camaro underscores this point. While his Camaro was faster on a prepped track, the current no-prep conditions have shown that the Procharger setup is better suited to handle the uneven surfaces and varying track conditions encountered in NPK. The Numbers Game Despite their raw power, Screw Blowers are facing a challenge on NPK tracks. Their inability to efficiently apply all their power on less-than-ideal surfaces means Prochargers often have the advantage. This season, the Procharger combos have proven more adaptable, which is why we’re seeing them at the top of the standings. Photo by Mallory Elizabeth Photography  However, it’s worth noting that consistency remains a strong suit for Screw Blower setups. Cars like Kai Kelly’s have shown impressive performance in the past, and their potential on better tracks—like those upcoming in Las Vegas, Michigan, and Texas Motorplex—could shift the balance. What Lies Ahead As the season progresses, we’ll be keeping a close eye on how the remaining races play out. With tracks like Las Vegas and Michigan on the horizon, it’ll be interesting to see if the Screw Blowers can leverage their raw power on more favorable surfaces. Conversely, the Procharger setups will need to maintain their edge on no-prep surfaces to keep their lead. In conclusion, while Prochargers currently hold the upper hand in the No Prep Kings arena due to their adaptability to unpredictable surfaces, the Screw Blowers still have a chance to shine on better-prepped tracks. The battle is far from over, and as always, we’re excited to see how these fierce competitors continue to push the limits of drag racing. Stay tuned to StreetOutlawsTalks.com for more updates and in-depth analysis on No Prep Kings and the ever-evolving world of street racing.

Hello, Street Outlaws fans! Welcome back to StreetOutlawsTalks.com , your go-to source for all the latest news and updates on your favorite racers and shows. Today, we’ve got some exciting news about one of the most beloved figures in the Street Outlaws community, Mike Murillo. If you've been following the No Prep Kings (NPK) scene, you know that Mike has been noticeably absent for over a year, and many of us have been wondering how he’s been doing. Well, we’ve got some great news to share with you all! Photo by Mike Murillo Racing  Mike Murillo's Health Update For those who may not know, Mike Murillo, the Season 2 No Prep Kings champion and a legendary drag racer with an impressive collection of over 15 World Championships, has been battling cancer. It's been a tough road for Mike, but we're thrilled to report that he seems to be doing much better! According to a recent post on his Facebook page, Mike is in better health, and that’s something we can all celebrate. We’re sending all our positive vibes and prayers his way for continued recovery and strength. Back Behind the Wheel Even though Mike has been focusing on his health, his passion for racing hasn’t faded one bit. A few months ago, he got back behind the wheel of his trusty Mustang at a benefit no prep race. It was great to see him racing again, even if it was just for fun and charity. Watching him in action reminded us all why he’s such a revered figure in the racing community. His absence has definitely been felt on the NPK circuit, and fans everywhere are eager to see him back on the track where he belongs. Photo by Mike Murillo Racing  A New Car on the Horizon? Now, onto some even more exciting news—Mike might be working on a brand-new car! He recently posted a photo on his Facebook page of a beautifully built chassis, sparking rumors that he could be planning a return to NPK with a new ride. Before his health issues, Mike was already planning to build a new NPK car, an S550 Mustang equipped with twin turbos. At one point, he even mentioned possibly going with a ProCharger setup. It’s not entirely clear if those plans are still on track, but one thing's for sure: if Mike does decide to build a new car, it’s going to be incredible. His current Mustang, while fast and heavily updated, isn’t a purpose-built NPK car. With the competition getting fiercer each season, having a car specifically designed for no prep surfaces could make all the difference. The Future of Mike Murillo in NPK We all know that Mike is a fierce competitor who gives everything he’s got on the track. If he does make a comeback next year, whether with his current car or a brand-new one, we can be sure he’ll be a force to be reckoned with. There’s no doubt that the NPK circuit has missed his presence, but more importantly, we want him to come back fully healthy and stronger than ever. Photo by Mike Murillo Racing  So, here’s to hoping we see Mike back on the NPK track soon! We’re sure that whatever he decides, he’ll continue to be an inspiration to racers and fans alike. • Monza’s Split Bumper Camaro Gets a New Powerplant: What’s Next?

Hey everyone! Welcome back to Street Outlaws Talks, your go-to source for all things related to the world of street racing. We’re diving into some exciting updates today about one of our favorite racers, Monza, and his iconic split bumper Camaro. If you’re as big of a fan of Monza and his rides as we are, buckle up because there’s a lot to talk about! Photo by Dean Images What’s Going on with Monza’s Camaro? First things first, let’s address the elephant in the room: Monza’s split bumper Camaro is getting a new powerplant! Yes, you heard that right. But before we get into the details of what’s going under the hood, let’s take a little trip down memory lane with this beast of a car. Over the years, we’ve seen Monza’s Camaro with several different engine setups. He’s run a 632 cubic inch big block Chevy, which was nothing short of impressive. Then he switched things up with a 762 cubic inch big block Chevy, showing us all that he’s not afraid to go big or go home. And let’s not forget the insane twin turbo 41X combination that really took things to the next level. Monza has never been one to shy away from experimenting with different setups to see what brings the best performance. The Evolution of Monza’s Racing Strategy Recently, Monza sold his Chevelle and announced that he won’t be participating in the No Prep Kings (NPK) season 8. This news surprised many fans, but it seems Monza has his reasons. He’s made it clear that he’s not interested in the NPK racing format for this year, next year, or possibly ever. So, what’s the plan for the split bumper Camaro now? Photo by NPK Peeps Monza has been doing some front half work on the Camaro, including moving the motor back, which suggests he’s making some significant changes to optimize performance. The big question now is: what powerplant will he choose? Choosing the Right Powerplant Monza has a few options on the table. Back in the day, on the Chief and Shawn Show in 2016, he mentioned that he’d love to drive the car himself. If that’s still the case, the choice of powerplant becomes even more crucial. If Monza decides to go with a Proline Hemi and a ProCharger setup, it could be a game-changer. This combination has been a proven winner, especially in NPK season 7, where it has dominated the field. Even though Monza isn’t interested in NPK, if there’s any chance of taking this beast back to the streets for a new show or event, a Proline Hemi with a ProCharger might just be the perfect choice. Photo by Speed Obsessed  There’s also the twin turbo setup to consider. Twin turbos are known for their drivability, especially for street applications. They’ve been tested and proven in events like Drag Week, showing that they can handle both the street and the strip. This setup could offer the best of both worlds if Monza wants a car that’s versatile and capable of competing in various types of racing. What’s Next for Monza? While Monza hasn’t made a final decision yet, it seems like he’s leaning towards the Proline Hemi with a ProCharger. This setup would make his split bumper Camaro a pure race car, focused solely on performance. However, if Monza wants the flexibility to do a drag-and-drive event or something similar, a twin turbo setup could be in the cards. Personally, I’m a big fan of the old-school nitrous setups. I loved when Monza ran the 762 cubic inch nitrous motor in the Camaro. There’s just something raw and powerful about nitrous that makes any car look and sound incredible. But whatever Monza decides, I’m sure it’s going to be epic. Conclusion So, what do you think Monza should do? Should he go with the tried-and-true Proline Hemi with a ProCharger, or should he opt for a twin turbo setup for more versatility? Or maybe you’re like me and think the nitrous motor should make a comeback. Whatever your opinion, we’d love to hear it! Drop your thoughts in the comments below, and don’t forget to stay tuned to Street Outlaws Talks for all the latest updates. Thanks for reading, and as always, keep the pedal to the metal!

The Race to the No Prep Kings Elite Series With only two more races left to qualify for the No Prep Kings Elite Series, the competition is getting fierce. The last four races of the season will be part of the Elite Series playoffs, which will only feature the top 16 cars. This format adds even more excitement to an already intense championship battle! Photo by Mallory Elizabeth Photography For those outside the top 11, the pressure is on. They need to step up their game in the remaining races to secure a spot in the Elite Series. With the next few races being held at fast tracks like Las Vegas and Michigan, we’re expecting some jaw-dropping performances. The last race will offer double points, and the second and third to last races will offer points and a half, making every race count more than ever. What to Expect in the Next Races The upcoming tracks are known for their speed, which is great news for the fastest cars in the competition. Las Vegas is set to host the next race in three weeks, and with its reputation for being a fast track, we’re expecting some blistering times. Michigan, another speedy track, will follow, adding to the excitement. Murder Nova has been particularly impressive lately, showcasing not just speed but remarkable consistency. He’s definitely earned his current number one spot, but with so many fast cars nipping at his heels, he’ll need to keep his foot on the gas to stay ahead. Photo by Mallory Elizabeth Photography We’ve also got our eyes on the Mustang driven by Coz, who, despite joining the competition a bit late, has been making waves. He recently won the losers' bracket at Firebird Raceway, proving that he’s a force to be reckoned with. If he can keep up this momentum, he just might crack the top 16. The Final Stretch As we move into the final stretch of the No Prep Kings season, the tension is palpable. With only six races left, including the high-stakes Elite Series playoffs, every point is crucial. We’re at the midway point of the championship, but with the added points races still to come, anything can happen. • The Legendary Car That Continues to Define and Save Street Outlaws!

Welcome to Street Outlaws Talks, where today’s focus is on a true legend of the racing world: the Murder Nova. It’s clear that the Murder Nova stands out as one of the biggest superstars ever to grace the Street Outlaws franchise. For those who’ve followed the show since its early days, it’s undeniable that the Murder Nova holds a unique place in racing history. Photo by Stat Guy When you think of iconic Street Outlaws cars, the Murder Nova is often at the top of the list. Its sleek, all-black exterior and powerful performance have made it a standout since its debut. While cars like The Crow and the Farmtruck have their own massive followings, the Murder Nova’s impact on the sport is truly unparalleled. The Murder Nova, driven by Shawn Ellington, isn’t just a car; it’s a symbol of endurance and excellence. It’s remarkable to see how the Nova has evolved from its early days, especially when comparing it to other cars from the first season. Back then, you might have predicted that cars like the Sonoma or Monza’s ride would still be in the spotlight today. But the Murder Nova’s continued dominance was less certain, especially considering its ups and downs over the years. • No Prep Kings Championship Standings: Mid-Season Update and What’s Next

As the No Prep Kings season hits the halfway mark, the competition is heating up, and the current Championship standings are a testament to the intense rivalry this season. After a thrilling event yesterday, Sean Ellington continues to make waves by securing his third Invitational win, positioning himself at the top of the leaderboard. He holds a narrow lead over Robin Roberts, with Giuseppe Gentile and Disco Dean following closely behind. Disco Dean’s consistent performance this season has kept him in a strong position, and fans are eager to see if he can maintain this momentum. Photo by Mallory Elizabeth Photography The rankings are stacked with some heavy hitters: Ryan, Justin, and Kye Kelley round out the top contenders, while Clay Cole, Scott Taylor, Paige, Bobby Ducote, Kayla, Jeff Lutz, Jerry Bird, and Chris Rankin are also making significant moves. Notably, Chris Rankin cracked the top 16 yesterday, showcasing a remarkable performance. However, Jim Howe has slipped to the 16th spot, and the fierce competition means no position is secure. Other notable racers like Birdman, Jimmy Taylor, Daddy Dave, Nate Sayler, Alex Laughlin, B-Rad , James Doc, John Odom, Dominator, and Cole Pesz are still in the mix, each aiming to climb up the standings. Photo by Stat Guy With two more races left to qualify for the No Prep Elite Series playoffs, the stakes are incredibly high. Out of the 11 total races this season, eight have been points races, leaving six remaining, including the last race which will award double points. The next-to-last and third-to-last races will offer points and a half, making every upcoming event crucial for championship contenders. As we reach the midpoint of the championship, the added points races mean that standings can shift dramatically. The last four races will feature only the top 16 cars, so those sitting around the 11th spot or lower need to step up their game. The competition is fierce, and with tracks like Las Vegas and Michigan on the horizon, known for their speed, it's anyone’s game. Photo by Stat Guy Murder Nova has been a standout this season, consistently fast and reliable, which is reflected in his top position. However, with the level of competition and the unpredictability of No Prep racing, anything can happen. The Mustang driven by Cole Pesz, although joining the competition a bit late, has shown impressive potential. After winning the losers bracket yesterday, Cole Pesz’s car is expected to be a serious contender. Photo by Stat Guy Looking ahead, the next race is set to take place in Las Vegas in three weeks. The anticipation is building as teams prepare for this high-stakes event. With the season in full swing, fans and racers alike are eagerly watching to see how the standings will evolve and who will emerge victorious in the end. Stay tuned for more updates and analysis as the season progresses! Photo by Mallory Elizabeth Photography

  • Street Outlaws - No Prep Kings at Firebird Raceway: What to Expect and Where to Watch

Hello, Street Outlaws fans! We’re excited to bring you the latest news and insights about the upcoming No Prep Kings event at Firebird Raceway. Buckle up, because this weekend promises to be full of action, surprises, and some intense racing! Let’s dive into what we can expect from this weekend’s race and where you can catch all the live action. Photo by Mallory Elizabeth Photography  No Official Live Feed – But Don’t Worry! Unfortunately, there won't be an official live feed for this weekend's event at Firebird Raceway. Rumor has it that a new TV deal related to No Prep Kings (NPK) might be the reason behind the lack of an official broadcast. While we can't confirm if this is true, it’s something to keep in mind as we look forward to more exciting NPK content in the future. But don't worry! Our trusted sources have got us covered. Upshift 360 will be streaming live from his YouTube channel today and tomorrow, giving us a front-row seat to all the racing action. Additionally, No Prep Travelers Hollywood will also be live on Facebook, providing another great option to watch. Both channels have consistently delivered fantastic coverage, so we’re in good hands! The Challenges of Firebird Raceway Idaho’s Firebird Raceway is known for being a tricky track. The surface has always posed a challenge for racers, making it a true test of skill and strategy. Last season, Ryan emerged victorious at this event, but he’s been having a rough time in recent NPK races. He hasn’t been able to make it past the first round of the winner’s bracket in the last two events, struggling with tire shake both times. Let’s see if he can turn things around this weekend! Photo by Mallory Elizabeth Photography  Racers will need to fine-tune their setups to handle Firebird’s unpredictable surface. This track is notorious for its less-than-ideal conditions, so teams will have to be on top of their game to get the most out of their cars. Tuning will be crucial, and with the high altitude (between 4,000 and 5,000 feet), the air density will play a significant role in how the cars perform. Current Points Standings and What’s at Stake Heading into this weekend, Robin Roberts is leading the points standings. He’s been on a roll, winning the last two Invitational events and holding onto that top spot. Following closely behind him are JPP in second place and Berova in third. Ryan, despite his recent struggles, is still holding onto fourth place. Here’s a quick rundown of the top 16 in the current standings: Robin Roberts Giuseppe Gentile Shawn Ellington Ryan Martin Disco Dean Justin Swanstrom Kye Kelley Scott Taylor Bobby Ducote Paige Coughlin Clay Cole Kayla Morton Jeff Lutz Jim Howe Birdman Finney Jerry Bird With only two more events left to qualify for the No Prep Kings Elite, the competition is heating up. Only the top 16 cars will make it to those elite events, so every race counts. After this weekend, there will be a two-week break, followed by two back-to-back races, leading up to the No Prep Kings Elite in October. It’s crunch time, and every driver will need to bring their A-game to stay in the top 16. Photo by Mallory Elizabeth Photography  The Race Ahead This weekend’s race at Firebird Raceway is going to be a thrilling battle as drivers fight to secure their spots in the standings. The challenging track conditions and high-altitude environment will test even the most seasoned racers. With so much at stake, we’re expecting some fierce competition and maybe even a few surprises. Photo by Mallory Elizabeth Photography  Make sure to tune in to the live streams from Upshift 360 on YouTube or No Prep Travelers Hollywood on Facebook to catch all the action.
