Photo by Raleigh Carpenter After a year and a half of waiting, fans and racers alike were thrilled to witness the YETI Chevelle making its first test passes on the track. For those who have been following this journey closely, this is a significant milestone. It’s clear that this car has been carefully and meticulously prepared for the upcoming No Prep Kings (NPK) season. A Closer Look at the YETI Chevelle This beast of a car isn’t just any Chevelle—it’s a testament to top-tier craftsmanship and cutting-edge racing technology. Under the hood, it boasts a potent ProLine Racing MH7 Hemi engine, paired with a ProCharger 1401, ensuring it has the power and speed to compete with the best in the NPK series. The chassis, built by Cameron Johnson Race Cars, is known for its exceptional performance, especially in no-prep conditions, making this car a serious contender. It’s no secret that ProLine Hemi engines have dominated the NPK scene this season, with a staggering number of races won by cars running similar setups. In fact, out of twelve races, eight have been clinched by ProCharger setups, showcasing their prowess on the track. This gives us high hopes for the YETI Chevelle’s performance in the upcoming season. Testing in Action Chevy Reeves, who will be piloting the YETI Chevelle, has shared some sneak peeks of the car making passes on his Facebook page, "Hella Chevy." From what we’ve seen so far, the car is looking incredibly strong, with a smooth and powerful run down the track. Early tests suggest that it’s already reaching times in the 3-second range, which is impressive considering they’re just getting started. Photo by Raleigh Carpenter It’s not uncommon for a new car to take some time to get sorted out, but with this kind of early performance, it’s clear that the YETI Chevelle has the potential to be a major player in NPK Season 8. Chevy and his team have several months of testing ahead, giving them plenty of time to fine-tune the setup and ensure everything is dialed in for the first race. Young Guns on the Rise One of the most exciting aspects of the NPK series is seeing new, young talent stepping up to the challenge. Chevy Reeves joins a growing list of young racers, like Paige Coughlin and Nicole Pesce, who have been making waves in the series recently. - Street Outlaws Racing at Smackdown 2024: A Weekend of High Stakes and High-Speed Action
Welcome back to Street Outlaws Talks ! We’re excited to dive into the latest developments from the Smackdown 2024 race, where some of the top racers from the Street Outlaws series are battling it out for a massive $150,000 prize. This high-octane event, part of the Midwest Drag Racing Series, is being held at the Flying H track strip, and it’s already delivering the intense action that fans have come to expect. Photo by Mallory Elizabeth Photography Who’s Racing? Two of the big names to watch this weekend are Cole Pass and Brandon P. Both drivers are putting their skills and machines to the test, with Cole racing the brand new Elanor Mustang, which is NPK-legal. This Mustang made its debut just a few weeks ago and has already turned heads with its impressive performance. The Elanor Mustang: A New Contender in the NPK Scene The Elanor Mustang is still relatively new to the track, but it's quickly proving to be a formidable competitor. In testing, it clocked a 3.70-second run at 203 mph on a no-prep track. That’s an impressive time for a car still in its early days of tuning and optimization. This weekend, however, the Mustang will be running on a prep track, which could yield even better times. Photo by Radical Speed Despite challenging conditions, with density altitude (DA) reaching around 3,500 feet and water grains hovering between 90-100, the car managed to put down some solid numbers. This is no small feat considering the 'bad air' conditions. Many believe that if the team can continue refining their setup, the Mustang has the potential to break into the 3.60-second range. Could the Mustang Take the Win? Kell, another NPK racer, currently holds the public record with a 3.69-second pass in PDRA competition. But with the way the Elanor Mustang is performing, there’s speculation that it could go even faster this weekend. Whether it will be fast enough to clinch the Pro Mod win remains to be seen, but one thing is certain: the car is making waves. The Power Behind the Performance What’s contributing to this car's success is the combination of a potent engine setup and a highly skilled team. The Pass family, known for their expertise in making horsepower, have done a remarkable job with this new build. The Elanor Mustang runs a 49 PJ setup, which many consider to be one of the most powerful supercharged combinations in the NPK series right now. This car is undoubtedly a force to be reckoned with. Photo by Radical Speed A Test Session for Future Races While the Smackdown 2024 race is a significant event, it also serves as a crucial test session for next weekend’s NPK race at US 131 Motorsports Park. This track is known for being one of the best, and a strong showing here would position the team well for the next round of competition. Even if they don’t make it to the elite 16 this time around, this weekend’s performance will be valuable for future races. Looking Ahead There’s a lot of excitement surrounding the Elanor Mustang and its potential. With more testing and refinement, this car could very well set new benchmarks in the NPK series. Whether or not it takes home the Smackdown 2024 title, it’s clear that this car and team are just getting started. So stay tuned to Street Outlaws Talks for all the latest updates and race results. We’ll be keeping a close eye on how things unfold at Smackdown 2024 and beyond. Hello everyone, welcome to Street Outlaws Talks! If you’re a fan of no-prep racing and the adrenaline-packed world of Street Outlaws, then you’re in for a treat this weekend. Outlaw Armageddon 9 is hosting its High Roller Shootout, and it’s set to be a thrilling event with some of the biggest names in the game ready to battle it out for a massive prize pot. Photo by Radical Speed This weekend, heavy hitters Ryan Martin, Scott Taylor, and Kye Kelley are all throwing their hats into the ring for a shot at the $322,000 prize. That’s right, you read that correctly—$322,000 is up for grabs in this high-stakes shootout. Each driver has put up $1,000 as a buy-in, making it a true winner-takes-all event that’s sure to be packed with intense competition and heart-pounding action. Who’s Racing? Let’s talk about the racers. Ryan Martin will be bringing his iconic Phoenix Camaro to the race. We’ve seen him dominate the track time and again, and he’s a force to be reckoned with whether he’s on big tires, small tires, or in the NPK series. Then there’s Scott Taylor, who’s no stranger to success on small tires with his well-known “John Doe.” Finally, Kye Kelley is coming in strong with the Shocker, featuring a powerful 738 cubic inch Pat Musi motor. If you’ve been following Kye, you know that he’s always a serious contender, and this time will be no different. These three racers have built a reputation for being some of the best in the no-prep racing scene. Whether you’re rooting for Ryan’s consistent mastery, Scott’s raw speed, or Kye’s nitrous-fueled power, there’s no doubt that this shootout is going to be a must-watch event. A Weekend of Action The High Roller Shootout is just one part of a three-day racing extravaganza at Outlaw Armageddon 9. While the shootout happens tomorrow, we’ve got more racing to look forward to on Friday and Saturday as well. This event has always been a fan favorite, drawing some of the best racers from across the country, many of whom aren’t regulars on Street Outlaws but are serious contenders nonetheless. Photo by Radical Speed In addition to the High Roller Shootout, Saturday will feature the main small tire race, where even more action is expected. It’s been a while since we’ve seen the nitrous Shocker in action, but it’s back and ready to tear up the track. Shifting Focus to Small Tires Over the years, we’ve seen a shift in the no-prep racing scene, with more and more focus being placed on small tire racing. Back in the day, big tire events at Outlaw Armageddon drew massive crowds and fierce competition, but today, small tire no-prep is where it’s at. The competition is more intense, and the racing is closer, making it a thrilling spectacle for fans and racers alike. With more drivers and cars entering the small tire scene, it’s no wonder that events like the High Roller Shootout are becoming so popular. It’s anyone’s game out there, and even the biggest names in racing have to bring their A-game if they want to take home the prize. What to Expect If you’re a fan of Street Outlaws, no-prep racing, or just high-octane action in general, you won’t want to miss the High Roller Shootout. With a massive cash prize on the line and some of the best racers in the country competing, it’s set to be one of the most exciting events of the year. - Monza's Chevelle Resurrection: A New Front Half and Engine Combo
Monza is back at it again, and fans of "Street Outlaws" can rejoice as the legendary split bumper Camaro is getting a full-blown resurrection. After selling his Chevelle, Monza’s attention has shifted back to the iconic Camaro that we’ve seen in action for many years on Street Outlaws and No Prep Kings (NPK) . Photo by Andy McCoy Race Cars For those who follow the show closely, you’ll remember that Monza’s split bumper made its mark on both the street and the track. However, it struggled to stay competitive in the rapidly evolving world of NPK. But things are about to change as Monza is taking major steps to bring the Camaro back to life with some serious upgrades. Why the Resurrection? Monza’s Chevelle was a beast, but it’s clear that he missed the raw potential of the split bumper. The car, originally powered by a twin-turbo 41X engine, couldn’t keep up with the power levels seen in the more recent seasons of NPK . Although it could run in the threes (3-second 1/8 mile passes), the setup just didn’t quite match the competition's heavy hitters. Photo by Team Monza 405 On the street, the Camaro has always been a force to be reckoned with. In 2020 and 2021, Monza held the number one spot on Street Outlaws with his son, Youngblood, helping tune the car. The split bumper was built for the street, but it was never quite optimized for track domination—until now. The Big Changes: New Front Half & Engine Combo To bring this car to the next level, Monza has decided to front half the Camaro. The complete new front half of the car will allow the engine to be moved back, improving the weight distribution and overall handling. The goal? To make this car a true killer, whether it's on the street or the track. Photo by Team Monza 405 While the exact engine combination hasn’t been announced, rumors are swirling. It’s likely we’ll see a Hemi in the car, possibly paired with a ProCharger. That combination is tried and tested in the world of No Prep Kings. A screw blower could also be an option, although Monza is expected to lean more toward the ProCharger setup, considering how well it performed in the Chevelle he recently sold. This new setup promises insane power and speed. The ProCharger Hemi combination, paired with the new front half and engine placement, will make the Camaro much more competitive, no matter where Monza decides to race it. What’s Next for the Split Bumper? With all these upgrades, the big question is: will Monza return to No Prep Kings? At the moment, he doesn’t seem interested in rejoining the series, but you never know. There’s also a chance he’ll keep the split bumper on small tires and return to dominating the street scene, which is allegedly filming new episodes soon. Either way, we can’t wait to see how this new version of the Camaro performs. Photo by Team Monza 405 As much as we loved watching the Chevelle tear up the tracks, the return of Monza’s split bumper Camaro brings back nostalgia for longtime fans. There’s just something about that car that resonates with people. Whether you’re a fan of first-gen Camaros or not, it’s hard to deny the appeal of this one. Conclusion Monza’s split bumper resurrection is something all Street Outlaws fans should be excited about. With a new front half, a potentially lethal Hemi ProCharger combination, and better weight distribution, the Camaro is set to return in full force. Whether it ends up on the street or back in No Prep Kings, one thing’s for sure: this car is going to be a serious threat wherever it runs. Stay tuned to Street Outlaws Talks for more updates on Monza’s split bumper resurrection, as well as all the latest news on Street Outlaws and No Prep Kings.
- Lizzy Musi's Bonnie Camaro Racing in PDRA Pro Street: A Tribute to a Legend
Hey there, Street Outlaws fans! Today, we’re diving into some exciting news about Lizzy Musi’s iconic Bonnie Camaro making a return to the drag racing scene in the PDRA (Professional Drag Racers Association) Pro Street class. If you’ve been following the world of Street Outlaws and drag racing, you know that this car holds a special place in the hearts of many fans. Let’s break down the significance of this move, and why it’s a fitting tribute to Lizzy Musi’s legacy. Photo by Radical Speed A New Chapter for the Bonnie Camaro First things first: it’s official. Lizzy Musi’s Bonnie Camaro will be racing in PDRA Pro Street, with Tommy Franklin behind the wheel. For those who may not be familiar, Lizzy had a close relationship with the Franklin family, making this a meaningful connection as Tommy takes the reins of this nitrous-powered beast. Lizzy’s passing earlier this year was a massive loss to the drag racing community, but seeing this car back on the track is a powerful way to honor her memory. A Dominant Force in Drag Racing Lizzy was known for her competitive spirit and raw talent behind the wheel. The Bonnie Camaro, in particular, became one of the most recognized and feared cars in No Prep Kings (NPK) racing. It was one of the last nitrous-powered cars standing, holding its own in a field dominated by turbo and blower cars. And while Lizzy raced in both PDRA and NPK, it’s clear that NPK held a special place in her heart. Photo by Lizzy Musi This Bonnie Camaro isn’t just any car. In fact, it’s the second iteration of the Bonnie, a newer, lighter, and more advanced version that Lizzy started racing in Season 6 of NPK. This upgraded Bonnie made waves last season, winning three races and proving itself as a top contender. It’s a fitting tribute to see this car back in action, even if it’s not in NPK – for now. The Legacy of Lizzy Musi Let’s not forget what made Lizzy such a formidable competitor. She wasn’t just fast – she was smart, strategic, and fearless. In NPK, she was one of the few racers who could consistently challenge the dominance of boosted cars. In fact, Lizzy is one of only three racers in NPK history to win three races in a row, a feat that solidified her status as one of the best. Alongside heavy hitters like Kai Kelly and Ryan Martin, Lizzy made her mark and left a legacy that’s impossible to forget. And it wasn’t just her driving that made her special – it was her connection with her team. Together, they built and tuned a car that could win any race, on any given day. That’s why no one wanted to line up against Lizzy Musi in NPK. Whether it was the car, her skill, or the team behind her, she was always a threat. Photo by Lizzy Musi What’s Next for the Bonnie Camaro? While Tommy Franklin will be piloting the Bonnie Camaro in PDRA Pro Street, many fans (myself included!) are hoping to see this car back in NPK at some point in the future. Whether or not Lizzy’s family decides to bring the Bonnie back to NPK remains to be seen, but one thing is for sure: Lizzy loved NPK racing. She thrived in the competition, and her absence has been felt by fans and racers alike. In the meantime, it’s great to see the Bonnie Camaro back on the track in PDRA. Tommy Franklin is no stranger to winning, and with Lizzy’s car in his hands, you can bet it’ll be a force to be reckoned with in Pro Street. It’s a fitting tribute to one of the greatest racers we’ve ever seen, and a chance for fans to see this legendary car in action once again. Wrapping Up Lizzy Musi may be gone, but her legacy lives on through the Bonnie Camaro and the impact she made on the sport of drag racing. Whether it’s in PDRA, NPK, or any other racing series, we’ll be cheering for this car every step of the way. We’ll be keeping a close eye on how Tommy Franklin and the Bonnie Camaro perform in PDRA Pro Street, and who knows? Maybe one day we’ll see it back where it belongs in NPK, tearing up the competition just like Lizzy would have wanted. Stay tuned to Street Outlaws Talks for more updates on this and other exciting stories from the world of drag racing. And as always, don’t forget to comment and share your thoughts – we love hearing from you! Rest in peace, Lizzy Musi. Your legacy on the track will never be forgotten.
- Where is Big Chief Now, and Why Did He Quit Street Outlaws?
Big Chief, whose real name is Justin Shearer, has been a key figure in the reality TV show Street Outlaws since it first aired. Known for his magnetic personality and impressive racing skills, he quickly became a fan favorite. However, his sudden departure from the show left viewers both surprised and curious about what led to his decision and where he’s been since. Photo by Big Chief Why Big Chief Left Street Outlaws When Big Chief stepped away from Street Outlaws and its popular spin-offs like No Prep Kings and America’s List , it stirred up a lot of rumors. Some speculated that a falling out with fellow cast member Precious Cooper might have played a role. However, Big Chief later addressed the issue himself, clearing up the rumors. In a candid video on his YouTube channel, Midwest Street Cars, he explained that his decision to leave was mostly due to creative differences. He felt the show was drifting too far from its original focus on real street racing and becoming overly dramatized, which didn’t sit well with him. While his love for street racing hasn’t changed, he wanted the show to stay authentic, which was no longer the case in his eyes. Life After Street Outlaws Since his departure, Big Chief has focused on his own projects, particularly his business, Midwest Street Cars, and his YouTube channel, where he shares updates on his street racing adventures. His channel has become a go-to spot for fans eager to stay connected with his latest endeavors. Outside of social media, he’s still very much involved in the racing scene, continuing to race and fine-tune his famous car, The Crow , in the Oklahoma 405 racing circuit. Photo by Big Chief Even though Big Chief is no longer on Street Outlaws , his influence within the street racing world remains strong. He is still highly respected by fans and fellow racers, and his passion for the sport continues to inspire many. Final Thoughts Big Chief’s departure from Street Outlaws may have surprised fans, but it was a decision rooted in his desire to preserve the integrity of street racing. Though he’s stepped away from the cameras, his racing career is far from over. Fans can still follow his journey through his YouTube channel and social media, where he keeps the spirit of street racing alive. The excitement at No Prep Kings Las Vegas has reached a fever pitch, and Street Outlaws Talks is here to give you the scoop on the semifinals. The latest round brought some unexpected twists and thrilling performances that had fans on the edge of their seats. Photo by Radical Speed In the first semifinal matchup, Kayla and Ryan Martin went head-to-head, and it was nothing short of exhilarating. Ryan Martin, widely considered a frontrunner, faced off against Kayla, who was determined to make her mark. From the live feed on Upshift’s Twitch channel, it was clear that Kayla delivered a standout performance. She got off the line with a blistering start, leaving Ryan Martin in her dust. The term “upset” was thrown around, given Ryan’s top-tier status, but with Kayla’s equal combination and relentless effort, it was evident that this win was well-deserved. Kayla’s car was on fire, and her impressive pass showcased her skill and preparation. The second semifinal was just as thrilling, featuring Justin Swanstrom and the notorious Murder Nova. With Murder Nova leading the points race, the stakes were high. However, Justin Swanstrom proved he was not to be underestimated. - Street Outlaws Back to Street Racing in December 2024: What We Know So Far
Hey everyone, welcome to Street Outlaws Talks , your go-to source for everything about the wild world of street racing and No Prep Kings! Today, we’ve got some exciting news that’s been making waves in the Street Outlaws community— street racing could be coming back this December 2024! Photo by Radical Speed The Return to the Streets There’s been a lot of buzz lately, and the rumor mill is working overtime, but it seems like the return of street racing is more than just a whisper. Jeff Lutz, one of the legends in the Street Outlaws world, mentioned in a recent interview that the crew might be hitting the streets again by the end of the year. And let’s be real, if Lutz is talking about it, there’s a good chance it’s happening! From what we’re hearing, the filming is expected to kick off in December 2024, right after No Prep Kings (NPK) wraps up in late October. This gives racers a solid window to get their street cars prepped and ready for action. But here’s the kicker—this time, it’s likely going to be small tire racing . Why Small Tire? If you’ve been keeping up with the scene, you’ll know that big tire street racing is becoming a thing of the past. Back when Street Outlaws first started, the fastest cars were running around 4.70 to 4.80 seconds on a big tire on the streets. Fast forward to today, and some racers are clocking 4.20s or better. In fact, in 2021 and 2022, we saw cars like Ryan Martin’s and even Lutz’s pulling off 4.10s on the street, which is just insane. Photo by Radical Speed And with that much speed comes danger. We’ve seen some nasty accidents in recent years, even on small tires. Tragically, someone lost their life during the filming of Fastest in America in 2022, which was a huge wake-up call for everyone. Safety is always a concern, and it seems like moving to small tire racing is a way to keep the thrill while minimizing the risk. Will Small Tire Be as Cool as Big Tire? This is the big debate. While small tire racing has a ton of competition and can still be ridiculously fast, there’s something about those big tire beasts that just gets the adrenaline pumping. The last big tire street race we saw was back during the pandemic in 2020 with Mega Cash Days . It was pure madness, and many fans, myself included, miss that level of intensity. The most recent street racing show we got was Mega Cash Days in December 2022, but it was all on small tires. While it was a solid season, it just didn’t have the same magic as those big tire races. But, that doesn’t mean small tire racing isn’t exciting—it’s just a different kind of race. It’s more technical, with tighter margins for error, and in some ways, that makes it even more competitive. What About America's List? One show that a lot of us here at Street Outlaws Talks would love to see come back is America’s List . That was hands down one of the best shows in recent memory. The competition was fierce, the drama was real, and the racing was top-notch. With the potential return to street racing, we can only hope that something like America’s List makes its way back to our screens. Fingers crossed! Photo by Radical Speed Final Thoughts As we look ahead to December 2024, there’s a lot to be excited about. If Street Outlaws does go back to its roots with street racing, it’s sure to be a game-changer. Whether it’s on small tires or, by some miracle, big tires, we’re all in for some wild action. At the end of the day, what really matters is that the spirit of real street racing lives on. Make sure to stay tuned here at Street Outlaws Talks for all the latest updates. We’ll be keeping our ears to the ground and bringing you the freshest news as soon as we get it. What do you think? Are you excited about the potential return to street racing? - Street Outlaws Racers Eye Pro Mod Series: Nate Sayler Building a New Car
The Street Outlaws scene continues to heat up, and this time, it’s not just about the No Prep Kings (NPK) series. Several top racers from NPK have started expressing serious interest in Pro Mod racing, with some even building or purchasing new cars for the upcoming winter series. Photo by Mallory Elizabeth Photography One of the most exciting developments is Nate Sayler, who’s currently working on building a brand-new Pro Mod for this winter's racing season. The buzz around this project is gaining traction, and fans can’t wait to see what unfolds. NPK Racers Embrace Pro Mod Action It’s not just Nate Sayler who’s making waves in the Pro Mod world. There’s been a noticeable uptick in NPK racers wanting to take a crack at Eighth Mile Pro Mod racing after the NPK season wraps up. Names like Scott Taylor, Kye Kelly (who's showing some interest), Justin Swanstrom, and Mike Bowman have been floating around, all of whom are either building or considering building cars for the winter series. It’s exciting to think about the level of talent from NPK possibly crossing over to Pro Mod races like the World Series of Pro Mod and the Snowbirds. Photo by Mike Bowman Racing As a fan of Street Outlaws, it’s amazing to see these racers testing their skills in another arena. The Pro Mod series, especially in the Eighth Mile format, showcases some of the best door car racing in the world. While NHRA’s quarter-mile racing is also impressive, there’s something about the raw intensity of Eighth Mile racing that hits differently. It’s fast-paced, high-stakes, and for many racers and fans, the ultimate proving ground. Nate Sayler’s New Pro Mod Car One of the most exciting projects on the horizon is Nate Sayler’s new build. As of now, Sayler’s new car is being crafted by RG Race Cars, a name that’s known for building some serious machines. While we don’t know all the details about this new ride, it’s safe to say it’ll have ProCharger power under the hood. With Lee White likely handling the tuning duties, we can expect some serious performance out of this car. White is known as one of the best tuners in the business, and with his expertise, Sayler’s new build is definitely one to watch out for. Photo by Nate Sayler Racing What This Means for the Future of Street Outlaws While the excitement around Pro Mod is real, it doesn’t mean that the NPK series is going anywhere. In fact, new NPK cars are already being built for next season, and fans can rest assured that the series will be back. However, the Pro Mod winter series gives these racers a chance to test their skills in a new environment during the NPK offseason. It’s an opportunity to race, compete, and stay sharp while also exploring different avenues of door car racing. Photo by Mallory Elizabeth Photography Earlier this year, we saw several Street Outlaws racers test their Pro Mod mettle, with drivers like Justin Swanstrom, Chuck 55, and Mike Bowman competing in events like the World Series of Pro Mod. Bowman even claimed victory at the inaugural World Series of Pro Mod back in 2017, proving that Street Outlaws racers can definitely hold their own in the world of Pro Mod racing. Wrapping Up As the NPK season winds down, all eyes will be on the racers who are making the leap into Pro Mod action. Whether it’s the established pros like Mike Bowman or newcomers like Nate Sayler, this crossover promises to bring some exciting matchups in the world of door car racing. At Street Outlaws Talks, we’re all about following the journeys of these racers, and we can’t wait to see what they’ll bring to the Pro Mod scene this winter. Stay tuned as we keep you updated on all the latest Street Outlaws news, racer developments, and everything in between. If you love Street Outlaws and want to follow your favorite racers into the world of Pro Mod, you’re in the right place.
- Kallee Mills Returns to No Prep Kings This Weekend in Las Vegas
We’re heading into another exciting weekend of racing at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and fans of No Prep Kings have something big to look forward to. Kallee Mills is making her return to the NPK stage with her Golden Kong Camaro, and it’s going to be one wild ride! Photo by Kallee Mills Racing As many of you already know, Kallee’s been racing on and off this year in the NPK series, and after taking some time to fine-tune her car, she’s back in action. The Golden Kong Camaro has gone through some major changes over the past few months. After dealing with some struggles earlier this season, Kallee and her team decided to go back to big tires and focus on making the car as competitive as possible. This past week, they were out testing the Camaro, and according to Kallee’s team, it’s ready to take on the competition once again. The Challenge of Screw Blown Combos The big question is, can Kallee and the Golden Kong Camaro stay consistent enough to make a serious impact this weekend? As we’ve seen with other screw-blown cars in No Prep Kings, they tend to have the speed but can lack the consistency of their ProCharger counterparts. That’s been a key issue for teams running similar setups this season. However, the track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway has a reputation for being one of the best surfaces on the NPK circuit. If the track holds up, and the conditions are right, Kallee might just have the advantage she needs to get to the top. Photo by Kallee Mills Racing Las Vegas is notorious for its high-altitude conditions. The density altitude (DA) is expected to be around 5,000 to 5,500 feet, which means the air won’t be ideal for making maximum power. Despite this, the track itself should be good, and teams should be able to apply power effectively. While Kallee’s Camaro has the potential for insane speed, it’ll come down to how well she can harness that power on a challenging track. A Push for the Top 16 With the season nearing its final stretch, Kallee is a bit behind in the points standings, having missed several races this year. That said, she still has a shot at breaking into the top 16, which would put her in the running for the championship. But to do that, she’ll need to perform exceptionally well in Las Vegas and in the following race weekend. It’s definitely a tall order, but Kallee’s got the determination and the team to pull it off. Her crew is nothing short of elite. Anyone familiar with the sport knows the name Dwayne Mills—Kallee’s dad. Dwayne has won in countless classes, from radial tires to big tires, and he’s a seasoned veteran in the world of drag racing. With his expertise guiding Kallee, there’s no doubt that the Golden Kong Camaro will be dialed in and ready to compete. Photo by Kallee Mills Racing Women in Drag Racing – A Growing Force One of the things we love to see here at Street Outlaws Talks is the growing presence of women in drag racing, especially in No Prep Kings. While there aren’t many women competing in the NPK series right now, racers like Pat Goin, Kayla Morton, and of course, Kallee Mills, are leading the charge. The loss of Lacy was a tough one for the community, but seeing strong women continue to thrive in this sport is a reminder of just how much talent and passion is out there. We’re hoping to see even more women take the wheel and make their mark in the future. All Eyes on Kallee This Weekend So, what can we expect from Kallee Mills and the Golden Kong Camaro in Las Vegas? With a finely tuned car, a strong team, and a good track to work with, we’re optimistic that Kallee will make some noise this weekend. While the competition is tough, Kallee’s persistence and skill make her a serious contender. If she can make a deep run and pick up some valuable points, she could still pull off an impressive comeback in the standings. Here at Street Outlaws Talks , we’re all about celebrating the spirit of competition, the thrill of the race, and the stories of the people who make this sport what it is. Kallee Mills’ return to No Prep Kings is a story we’ll be watching closely, and we can’t wait to see what she delivers in Las Vegas. Stay tuned for more updates and coverage of this exciting NPK season as we follow all the action leading up to the championship! Let’s wish Kallee and the Golden Kong Camaro the best of luck this weekend—go get ‘em!
