With dozens of awards on its walls, crowds of adoring fans and a several-months-long waitlist, this Texan team is featured on MotorTrend's hit show “Texas Metal” and always has its hands full with customers, challenging builds and tight timelines.
Founded by Bill Carlton in 1994, Extensive Metal Works is one of the most respected custom automotive design and fabrication shops in the industry. The crew works on everything with wheels from muscle cars to monster trucks. Team members specialize in one-of-a-kind custom builds because they are at their best when they are pushing the envelope—and that’s exactly what this collection shows.
As the owner and innovator behind Ekstensive Metal Works, Carlton, with the help of shop manager Tim Donelson, pushes his team to build the best one-off vehicles for people from around the country.
The Texas Metal Collection will feature a Plaid-edition Tesla Model S - the fastest electric production car currently available on the market - a custom 2021 Cadillac Escalade, a lifted 2017 Ford Super Duty 250, and a lowered 2016 Ford 150.
