The Last Hope for Street Shows: Boosted GT’s Small Tire Show – Will It Bring Street Racing Back?

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to Street Outlaws Talks, where we discuss everything and anything in the world of street racing. This week, we’re diving into a topic that’s been on everyone’s mind lately: the future of street shows in the Street Outlaws universe. Is there still hope for the raw, street-based racing content that we all fell in love with? Or has the focus completely shifted to No Prep Kings, leaving the streets behind?

The Uncertain Future of Street Outlaws on TV

For those who don’t know, the future of Street Outlaws on Discovery Channel is looking pretty grim. With no new street shows announced, and No Prep Kings Season 6 potentially being the last season to air, it feels like the era of street-based racing on TV might be coming to an end. There’s still a slim chance we’ll see No Prep Kings Season 6 hit our screens this fall, but if that doesn’t happen, it might be curtains for Street Outlaws as we know it on Discovery.

Discovery hasn’t confirmed anything yet, and to be honest, we can’t be too sure what’s going on behind the scenes. But from what we’ve gathered, this could be the final run for the show on that platform. Even if No Prep Kings airs, it’s not exactly what most of us tune in for. It’s not street racing; it’s a competition in a controlled environment. And while that’s cool, it’s not the raw, unpredictable, late-night street action that made Street Outlaws a fan favorite in the first place.

Jeff Lutz Offers a Glimmer of Hope

Now, I know what you’re thinking: Is that it for the streets? Is there any chance of the street scene making a comeback? Well, there might be a spark of hope, and it comes from none other than Jeff Lutz. He recently hinted that street racing content could eventually return, and he seems confident about it. During a recent No Prep Kings race, Jeff mentioned that the success of the live-streamed events could lead to more street-focused content in the future.

But let’s be real: while Jeff’s comments are encouraging, there’s no official confirmation or concrete plan for street shows. All we have right now are whispers and speculation. That said, Jeff’s been in the game long enough to know a thing or two, so maybe he’s onto something.

Boosted GT’s Small Tire Show: The Last Real Hope?

Now, here’s where things get interesting. While the future of Street Outlaws on Discovery may be uncertain, there’s one project that has real potential to bring street racing back into the spotlight: Boosted GT’s small tire show.

Back in March 2024, Boosted GT posted a photo on his Facebook page showing him in front of professional cameras, filming something. This wasn’t some behind-the-scenes teaser or a random social media update. It was a clear sign that something was in the works. And from what we can gather, it looks like Boosted might be working on a small tire street racing show.

Now, we’re not saying this is pure speculation—Boosted himself shared this image, and it’s pretty clear that something is being filmed. The big question is: what exactly is it, and where will we see it?

Could YouTube Be the New Home for Street Racing Content?

Here’s where things get even more interesting. There’s a good chance that Boosted’s new show might not be picked up by Discovery Channel or any traditional TV network. With the current landscape of television shifting towards streaming and digital platforms, it wouldn’t be surprising if this new project finds a home on YouTube or another streaming service.

Honestly, YouTube seems like the perfect platform for a small tire street racing show. It allows for greater creative freedom, faster content delivery, and direct engagement with the fans. Plus, it bypasses all the red tape of traditional TV networks. Fans could get the raw, unfiltered street racing content they crave, without any of the restrictions or limitations imposed by TV networks.

Will Boosted GT’s Show Be the Next Big Thing?

At this point, Boosted’s show is like Bigfoot—there’s evidence that it exists, but we haven’t seen it in full form yet. We’re all waiting with bated breath to see if this project will finally hit the screens and reignite the street racing flame. Will it be the pilot show that leads to a new wave of street racing content? Or will it disappear into the ether like so many other rumored projects?

Only time will tell, but here at Street Outlaws Talks, we’re holding out hope that this is the spark we’ve been waiting for. Boosted GT has always been a major player in the Street Outlaws world, and if anyone can bring street racing back to the forefront, it’s him.

The Future of Street Outlaws: What’s Next?

While the outlook for street shows on Discovery Channel seems bleak, Boosted GT’s new project gives us a glimmer of hope. Whether it airs on YouTube, a streaming service, or somewhere else entirely, this small tire show could be the future of street racing content.

What do you think? Will we see Boosted GT’s show take off and bring street racing back? Or is the street scene on TV done for good? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below, and stay tuned to Street Outlaws Talks for all the latest updates.
