Born on August 10th, 1973, at St. Joseph's Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, Jonathan's genesis was amidst the heartland of underground street racing. Growing up amidst the rolling hills of Joiner, Arkansas, Jonathan's roots intertwined with the fervor of Pentecostal faith, nurtured by his mother's beliefs. Even in his tender years, he found himself drawn to the allure of fast cars, accompanying his father and uncle to witness their adrenaline-fueled escapades on the asphalt.

By the age of 10, he was already tearing through the back roads of his rural hometown, a budding racer in the making. Yet, the seduction of the streets proved treacherous, leading him down a path veiled in shadows, culminating in an 8-year sojourn within the confines of federal prison walls.

But from the depths of adversity emerged a resolve as Jonathan seized a newfound lease on life upon his release. Immersing himself in his lifelong passion for cars, he transcended from a hobbyist to a maestro, dedicating his days to resurrecting the relics of automotive history amidst the provincial landscape of Joiner.

Seeking solace in the roar of engines, Jonathan ventured beyond the confines of his small-town persona. Street racing, gambling, and hustling became his chosen pursuits, sculpting him into the sharp-witted, fast-talking individual known as JJ Da Boss.

Graduating from Riverest High School in 1992, he embarked on a journey fraught with challenges, a journey that would ultimately propel him into the realms of fame and fortune. Dedicating two decades to the profession of roofing, he followed in his familial footsteps. Yet, amid the sweltering heat of the day, his heartbeat for the rhythm of engines never ceased.

Delving deeper into the clandestine world of Memphis street racing, his reputation burgeoned, establishing him as a luminary within the community. Catching the discerning eye of the Discovery Channel, the birth of "Street Outlaws Memphis" heralded a new chapter in Jonathan's saga, catapulting him into the limelight, a stark juxtaposition to his humble beginnings.

Yet beyond the glare of cameras, Jonathan's personal life remained veiled in privacy. Married to Trisha Day, his companion in both life and racing, the couple shared a bond fortified by a decade of togetherness and blessed with four children.

Beyond the confines of the racetrack, JJ Da Boss has forged alliances with seasoned drivers like Precious Cooper, fostering a camaraderie that extends beyond the asphalt. Together, they navigate the twists and turns of life, providing mutual support amidst the chaos of the racing world.

However, JJ Da Boss's journey has not been without its share of trials. In 2017, a car accident left him battered and bruised, serving as a poignant reminder of the inherent risks of his chosen profession. Despite adversity, he persevered, founding Spin City, a street race scene that bears testament to his indomitable spirit.

Yet, JJ Da Boss's life is not devoid of controversy. Accusations of assault have tarnished his reputation, and legal disputes have added a layer of complexity to his narrative, underscoring the precarious balance between fame and infamy.

In essence, JJ Da Boss's story is one of resilience, passion, and the relentless pursuit of dreams amidst the high-octane world of street racing. As "Street Outlaws Memphis" continues to captivate audiences with its enthralling narrative, the saga of JJ Da Boss and his family promises to unfold in future seasons, a testament to the enduring allure of life in the fast lane.
