With his third Invitational win of the season, Shawn now holds a slight lead over Robin Roberts. It’s been a fantastic season for Shawn, who has shown incredible speed and consistency. Here’s a quick rundown of the top racers in the current No Prep Kings standings:
Shawn Ellington - Leading the pack with a narrow margin over his closest competitors. His consistency and impressive wins have put him in the top spot, making him a serious contender for the championship.

The Race to the No Prep Kings Elite Series
With only two more races left to qualify for the No Prep Kings Elite Series, the competition is getting fierce. The last four races of the season will be part of the Elite Series playoffs, which will only feature the top 16 cars. This format adds even more excitement to an already intense championship battle!

For those outside the top 11, the pressure is on. They need to step up their game in the remaining races to secure a spot in the Elite Series. With the next few races being held at fast tracks like Las Vegas and Michigan, we’re expecting some jaw-dropping performances. The last race will offer double points, and the second and third to last races will offer points and a half, making every race count more than ever.
What to Expect in the Next Races
The upcoming tracks are known for their speed, which is great news for the fastest cars in the competition. Las Vegas is set to host the next race in three weeks, and with its reputation for being a fast track, we’re expecting some blistering times. Michigan, another speedy track, will follow, adding to the excitement.
Murder Nova has been particularly impressive lately, showcasing not just speed but remarkable consistency. He’s definitely earned his current number one spot, but with so many fast cars nipping at his heels, he’ll need to keep his foot on the gas to stay ahead.

We’ve also got our eyes on the Mustang driven by Coz, who, despite joining the competition a bit late, has been making waves. He recently won the losers' bracket at Firebird Raceway, proving that he’s a force to be reckoned with. If he can keep up this momentum, he just might crack the top 16.

As we move into the final stretch of the No Prep Kings season, the tension is palpable. With only six races left, including the high-stakes Elite Series playoffs, every point is crucial.
