No Official Live Feed – But Don’t Worry!

Unfortunately, there won't be an official live feed for this weekend's event at Firebird Raceway. Rumor has it that a new TV deal related to No Prep Kings (NPK) might be the reason behind the lack of an official broadcast. While we can't confirm if this is true, it’s something to keep in mind as we look forward to more exciting NPK content in the future.

But don't worry! Our trusted sources have got us covered. Upshift 360 will be streaming live from his YouTube channel today and tomorrow, giving us a front-row seat to all the racing action. Additionally, No Prep Travelers Hollywood will also be live on Facebook, providing another great option to watch. Both channels have consistently delivered fantastic coverage, so we’re in good hands!

The Challenges of Firebird Raceway

Idaho’s Firebird Raceway is known for being a tricky track. The surface has always posed a challenge for racers, making it a true test of skill and strategy. Last season, Ryan emerged victorious at this event, but he’s been having a rough time in recent NPK races. He hasn’t been able to make it past the first round of the winner’s bracket in the last two events, struggling with tire shake both times. Let’s see if he can turn things around this weekend!

Racers will need to fine-tune their setups to handle Firebird’s unpredictable surface. This track is notorious for its less-than-ideal conditions, so teams will have to be on top of their game to get the most out of their cars. Tuning will be crucial, and with the high altitude (between 4,000 and 5,000 feet), the air density will play a significant role in how the cars perform.

Current Points Standings and What’s at Stake

Heading into this weekend, Robin Roberts is leading the points standings. He’s been on a roll, winning the last two Invitational events and holding onto that top spot. Following closely behind him are JPP in second place and Berova in third. Ryan, despite his recent struggles, is still holding onto fourth place.

Here’s a quick rundown of the top 16 in the current standings:

  1. Robin Roberts

  2. Giuseppe Gentile

  3. Shawn Ellington

  4. Ryan Martin

  5. Disco Dean

  6. Justin Swanstrom

  7. Kye Kelley

  8. Scott Taylor

  9. Bobby Ducote

  10. Paige Coughlin

  11. Clay Cole

  12. Kayla Morton

  13. Jeff Lutz

  14. Jim Howe

  15. Birdman Finney

  16. Jerry Bird

With only two more events left to qualify for the No Prep Kings Elite, the competition is heating up. Only the top 16 cars will make it to those elite events, so every race counts. After this weekend, there will be a two-week break, followed by two back-to-back races, leading up to the No Prep Kings Elite in October. It’s crunch time, and every driver will need to bring their A-game to stay in the top 16.

This weekend’s race at Firebird Raceway is going to be a thrilling battle as drivers fight to secure their spots in the standings. The challenging track conditions and high-altitude environment will test even the most seasoned racers. With so much at stake, we’re expecting some fierce competition and maybe even a few surprises.
