Street Outlaws fans, get ready—because the 2025 Outlaw 32 season is about to get even more exciting. Two fresh but familiar names are stepping up to the line: Carson Baker and Kyle Canion. If you’ve been following the scene closely, you've probably already seen these two make some noise at the tail end of last season. But now, they’re back—and this time, they’re bringing the big guns.

Let’s break down what’s coming our way.

Carson Baker’s Got Ryan Martin in His Corner

Carson Baker may be a new name to some, but his car is anything but unfamiliar. He’s already made a couple of appearances last season, and sharp-eyed fans might’ve noticed something special: Ryan Martin is hands-on with this build.

That’s right—Ryan, the man behind one of the fastest and most consistent cars in No Prep Kings history, is essentially acting as Carson’s crew chief. And it shows. The car, an orange twin to Ryan’s signature gray ride, is loaded up with Pro Line power. Under the hood? A Pro Line MH7 Hemi with a massive ProCharger setup. Word is, Carson’s car is now sporting the 144 blower and a splash of nitrous—just like Ryan’s own weapon of choice.

With Ryan wrenching and tuning, it’s safe to say this car won’t just be competitive. It’s going to be fast. Maybe not dominant out of the gate—but if history tells us anything, Ryan knows how to build a car that wins. And Carson, with a few laps under his belt already, could quickly become a force on the circuit.

Kyle Canion’s Twin Turbo Comeback

Now let’s talk about Kyle Canion. He’s not a rookie to this game either. He made an appearance last season, and longtime fans will remember his ProCharged Hemi Camaro from back in Season 6 (2023). But now? Things are different.

Kyle’s rolling into 2025 with a twin turbo Hemi Camaro—possibly the same car as before, but heavily reworked. The move from ProCharger to twin turbo is interesting—and a bit risky in the current NPK landscape.

Here’s the deal: twin turbos can make absurd amounts of power. No argument there. But getting that power to stick on a no prep surface? That’s another story. Historically, turbo cars have struggled in this environment. However, with tire rules shifting (36-inch tall slicks are now in play), the door might finally be opening for these high-horsepower setups to shine.

We’ll see if Kyle’s twin turbo gamble pays off. If it does, he could bring a whole new level of competition to the mix—and maybe inspire others to take the turbo route as well.

Why This Matters

The Outlaw 32 field is deeper and more competitive than ever before. Gone are the days of one racer dominating an entire season. Ryan Martin himself—once nearly unstoppable—is now fighting tooth and nail for every win.

But that’s the beauty of where Street Outlaws is right now. It’s wide open. And with names like Carson Baker stepping in with powerhouse backing, and veterans like Kyle Canion rolling out radically different builds, we’re in for a hell of a season.

This isn’t just racing—it’s evolution.
