For those who may not be familiar with the show, No Prep Kings is a popular drag racing series that pits some of the fastest street racers against each other in a no-prep format, where the racers have to race on an unprepared track surface, without any traction compound.

The Murder Nova is one of the most iconic cars on the show, and it's no surprise that fans are eagerly awaiting news on what engine combo the car will be running this season. The car, which is owned by Shawn Ellington, has undergone several transformations over the years, with each iteration becoming more powerful and faster than the last.

For the upcoming season, Shawn has been keeping the details of the engine combo under wraps, but there are a few rumors and speculations going around. One of the most popular theories is that the car will be running a twin-turbocharged LS engine, which is a common choice for many of the top racers on the show.

In his original plan, he intended to use the OG car with a pro-charge Hemi, but he later changed his mind and purchased a new Proline Hemi mh7 engine. It appears that this season, like his fellow racer Ryan Martin, he will be using a pro-charge setup. This new setup is expected to provide a significant boost to the Murder Nova, especially since the rules for the no-prep Kings setup are so close. Since Sean has been using a pro-charger setup for a long time, he knows how to fine-tune them for optimal performance.

But what about the possibility of a team deal? While nothing has been officially confirmed, fans are speculating that Ryan and Sean may share data and support each other if they end up with the same combination. This type of collaboration has been seen before at Mega Cash Days, where the OG Murder Nova and Ryan's Camaro shared the same engine setup.

Regardless of what engine combo the Murder Nova will be running, fans are sure to be in for a thrilling season. Shawn Ellington and his team have always been known for pushing the boundaries and setting new records, and there's no doubt that they will be doing the same this year.
