A late addition to the now 16-race schedule, the “Street Outlaws No Prep Kings” series paid a visit for the first time to the Alabama International Dragway for its next-to-last stop on the 2022 tour in late October. Eager “Street Outlaws” fans from around the South waited hours in line to see their favorite drivers line up on the racetrack to gain valuable points and a crack at the $40,000 winner prize in the “No Prep Kings” Invitational.
Sometimes, there’s nothing better than a little bit of a friendly rivalry to get the adrenaline flowing even more in the heat of the battle. In this particular case, we head out to the No Prep Kings Great 8 where the action is nothing but competitive and unfolded in such a way as to provide us with an interesting storyline for the second round.
Discovery’s Twitter clips from Monday’s episode of Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings show what happened when Kye and Lizzy raced one another in the so-called “Battle of the Household.” Kye and Lizzy were all smiles with one another before the showdown, but then Lizzy crossed the finish line first and “put Kye on the trailer in the first round of the Great 8”.

In another clip, Kye struggled to understand why Lizzy beat him. “I just said, ‘You can have the money, I need the points,’” he said. “I just got beat on the ego, is all I can think.”
And in a confessional on the show, Lizzy expressed concern over the race results. “I have a lot of people that are on my side that I’ve talked to. They’ve seen the emotions that I dealt with this weekend, and it’s just a lot on me,” she said. “Like, literally, our relationship is gone over this deal.”
The majority of Street Outlaws fans are convinced Lizzy and Kye broke up after their race, as they saw him get emotional over her win, with many assuming he wanted her to let him reach the finish line first. Some have sided with Lizzy as they felt he was blaming her for his loss, while others think she should have stuck to her initial decision to hold back and therefore understand why Kye wasn’t happy with how the race turned out.
One viewer wrote on Twitter: “There’s no way it’s over for them. She’s so damn gorgeous. Kye would be a fool to walk away from Lizzy.” Another said: “They’re good as ever in real life. He needed that win though, he hurt his chances at gaining points.”
Despite the drama of their reality TV show, it seems Kye and Lizzy are still together. This race happened months ago in late October and on Nov. 28, Kye posted an Instagram photo of him and Lizzy in the kitchen as they celebrated a “little Thanksgiving away from home.” He also added “We may or may not have ruined Lizzy’s collard greens.”

Furthermore, Kye’s profile pic on Instagram is a photo of himself with his arm around Lizzy.
So yes, we think the relationship drama you saw on Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings might have been drummed up for entertainment value!
