Kallee Mills Returns to No Prep Kings This Weekend in Las Vegas

We’re heading into another exciting weekend of racing at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and fans of No Prep Kings have something big to look forward to. Kallee Mills is making her return to the NPK stage with her Golden Kong Camaro, and it’s going to be one wild ride!

As many of you already know, Kallee’s been racing on and off this year in the NPK series, and after taking some time to fine-tune her car, she’s back in action. The Golden Kong Camaro has gone through some major changes over the past few months. After dealing with some struggles earlier this season, Kallee and her team decided to go back to big tires and focus on making the car as competitive as possible. This past week, they were out testing the Camaro, and according to Kallee’s team, it’s ready to take on the competition once again.

The Challenge of Screw Blown Combos

The big question is, can Kallee and the Golden Kong Camaro stay consistent enough to make a serious impact this weekend? As we’ve seen with other screw-blown cars in No Prep Kings, they tend to have the speed but can lack the consistency of their ProCharger counterparts. That’s been a key issue for teams running similar setups this season. However, the track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway has a reputation for being one of the best surfaces on the NPK circuit. If the track holds up, and the conditions are right, Kallee might just have the advantage she needs to get to the top.

Las Vegas is notorious for its high-altitude conditions. The density altitude (DA) is expected to be around 5,000 to 5,500 feet, which means the air won’t be ideal for making maximum power. Despite this, the track itself should be good, and teams should be able to apply power effectively. While Kallee’s Camaro has the potential for insane speed, it’ll come down to how well she can harness that power on a challenging track.

A Push for the Top 16

With the season nearing its final stretch, Kallee is a bit behind in the points standings, having missed several races this year. That said, she still has a shot at breaking into the top 16, which would put her in the running for the championship. But to do that, she’ll need to perform exceptionally well in Las Vegas and in the following race weekend. It’s definitely a tall order, but Kallee’s got the determination and the team to pull it off.

Her crew is nothing short of elite. Anyone familiar with the sport knows the name Dwayne Mills—Kallee’s dad. Dwayne has won in countless classes, from radial tires to big tires, and he’s a seasoned veteran in the world of drag racing. With his expertise guiding Kallee, there’s no doubt that the Golden Kong Camaro will be dialed in and ready to compete.

Women in Drag Racing – A Growing Force

One of the things we love to see here at Street Outlaws Talks is the growing presence of women in drag racing, especially in No Prep Kings. While there aren’t many women competing in the NPK series right now, racers like Pat Goin, Kayla Morton, and of course, Kallee Mills, are leading the charge. The loss of Lacy was a tough one for the community, but seeing strong women continue to thrive in this sport is a reminder of just how much talent and passion is out there. We’re hoping to see even more women take the wheel and make their mark in the future.

All Eyes on Kallee This Weekend

So, what can we expect from Kallee Mills and the Golden Kong Camaro in Las Vegas? With a finely tuned car, a strong team, and a good track to work with, we’re optimistic that Kallee will make some noise this weekend. While the competition is tough, Kallee’s persistence and skill make her a serious contender. If she can make a deep run and pick up some valuable points, she could still pull off an impressive comeback in the standings.

Here at Street Outlaws Talks, we’re all about celebrating the spirit of competition, the thrill of the race, and the stories of the people who make this sport what it is. Kallee Mills’ return to No Prep Kings is a story we’ll be watching closely, and we can’t wait to see what she delivers in Las Vegas.

Stay tuned for more updates and coverage of this exciting NPK season as we follow all the action leading up to the championship! Let’s wish Kallee and the Golden Kong Camaro the best of luck this weekend—go get ‘em!
