As many of you know, Justin Swanstrom is no stranger to the No Prep Kings scene. He's been turning heads and making waves with his impressive driving skills and equally impressive cars. Just recently, Justin shared some awesome updates on his Facebook page about his new No Prep Kings Mustang, and it's clear that this build is moving along at breakneck speed!
The Builder Behind 'Blood Pressure'
So, who’s behind the magic of this new Mustang? The folks at Wizard Race Cars are taking the helm once again. If that name sounds familiar, it's because they're the same wizards (pun intended) who built Justin’s previous ride, ‘Bad Blood.’ And let me tell you, they are known for building cars incredibly fast – and we’re not just talking about speed on the track!
To give you an idea of their efficiency, 'Bad Blood' was essentially built in just five months! Sure, the wiring took a bit longer, but getting a car of that caliber ready in such a short time is nothing short of amazing. It looks like the new Mustang will follow the same timeline, with plans to be finished by November. That’s lightning speed for a ground-up, purpose-built No Prep Kings car!
What to Expect from 'Blood Pressure'
Building a car from scratch is no small feat, especially when it’s designed specifically for the high-stakes world of No Prep Kings. These cars need to be both incredibly fast and incredibly durable, with the ability to handle the unpredictable conditions of no prep racing. The team at Wizard Race Cars certainly has their work cut out for them, but if their past work is any indication, 'Blood Pressure' is going to be a force to be reckoned with.

Justin's current car, 'Bad Blood,' is already a testament to the quality of Wizard Race Cars' builds. Although it’s a relatively new car, having started racing earlier this year, it's already proven itself by winning an NPK event. That’s not to say it hasn’t had its share of challenges; like any new car, it’s taken some time to get it dialed in. But Justin and his team are getting a handle on it, and it's only getting faster and more consistent with each pass.
Looking Ahead: More Races, More Wins?
As for Justin, he’s currently sitting at number six in the points standings, which is no small feat considering the level of competition in the No Prep Kings series. With a few more races left in the season, there’s still plenty of opportunity for him to climb the rankings. And who knows? With the new Mustang nearing completion, we might just see him snagging a few more wins before the year is out.
We also got a sneak peek recently of Todd Fon behind the wheel of 'Bad Blood,' and it looks like he’ll be joining the NPK action next year. It’s always exciting to see new drivers entering the fray, especially when they’re piloting a car as powerful as 'Bad Blood.' With Justin in the new Mustang and Todd potentially racing the Lexus, it’s going to be one heck of a season next year!
