Major Pro Mod Events Without Swanstrom

The 2025 racing season is gearing up to be a thrilling one. In just a couple of weeks, the US Street Nationals will kick off with an incredible $75,000 to-win Pro Mod race. This event promises to be one for the books, following the spectacular success of the Coba Nationals, where Kai Kelly secured a memorable victory. Later in the season, the World Series of Pro Mod offers an even bigger prize of $150,000 to the winner. Yet, despite the high stakes, Justin Swanstrom has announced he will not be participating in either event.

Focus Shifts to Big No-Time 275 Races

Instead of competing in these marquee events, Justin has set his sights on the big No-Time 275 races. One of the most notable is the $185,000-to-win race scheduled for March. Justin has been preparing his Pro Mod on 275 radial tires specifically for this event, which promises intense competition and significant rewards. His famed car, Prenup, will also make an appearance, equipped for these no-time challenges.

The Edge in No-Time Racing

Justin’s strategy leverages the lighter weight and aerodynamics of his Pro Mod. While Prenup is formidable, Justin’s Pro Mod offers key advantages:

  • Weight Savings: The Pro Mod comes in at roughly 2,650-2,670 lbs with Justin behind the wheel, compared to Prenup’s 2,800 lbs on big tires. With radials, the weight difference becomes even more pronounced, giving Justin a significant edge in performance.

  • Aerodynamics: The streamlined design of the Pro Mod enhances its speed potential, especially with high-overdrive screw blowers and other optimizations.

This combination has already proven effective, with Prenup achieving consistent 3.66-second runs. The Pro Mod is expected to surpass these benchmarks.

A New Corvette in the Works

Fans of Justin Swanstrom have even more to look forward to. Justin is working on a new Pro Mod Corvette, and while there’s no confirmed timeline for its debut, it’s clear that it will be a game-changer. Known for his success in no-time grudge and time racing, Justin’s addition of this Corvette to his lineup could redefine the competition.

What’s Next?

While we may not see Justin at the US Street Nationals or the World Series of Pro Mod, his focus on the No-Time 275 circuit and the $185,000 race ensures plenty of action in 2025. Beyond the prize money, these events often include additional grudge races, which could mean even more opportunities for Justin to showcase his skills.
