This weekend, heavy hitters Ryan Martin, Scott Taylor, and Kye Kelley are all throwing their hats into the ring for a shot at the $322,000 prize. That’s right, you read that correctly—$322,000 is up for grabs in this high-stakes shootout. Each driver has put up $1,000 as a buy-in, making it a true winner-takes-all event that’s sure to be packed with intense competition and heart-pounding action.

Who’s Racing?

Let’s talk about the racers. Ryan Martin will be bringing his iconic Phoenix Camaro to the race. We’ve seen him dominate the track time and again, and he’s a force to be reckoned with whether he’s on big tires, small tires, or in the NPK series. Then there’s Scott Taylor, who’s no stranger to success on small tires with his well-known “John Doe.” Finally, Kye Kelley is coming in strong with the Shocker, featuring a powerful 738 cubic inch Pat Musi motor. If you’ve been following Kye, you know that he’s always a serious contender, and this time will be no different.

These three racers have built a reputation for being some of the best in the no-prep racing scene. Whether you’re rooting for Ryan’s consistent mastery, Scott’s raw speed, or Kye’s nitrous-fueled power, there’s no doubt that this shootout is going to be a must-watch event.

A Weekend of Action

The High Roller Shootout is just one part of a three-day racing extravaganza at Outlaw Armageddon 9. While the shootout happens tomorrow, we’ve got more racing to look forward to on Friday and Saturday as well. This event has always been a fan favorite, drawing some of the best racers from across the country, many of whom aren’t regulars on Street Outlaws but are serious contenders nonetheless.

In addition to the High Roller Shootout, Saturday will feature the main small tire race, where even more action is expected. It’s been a while since we’ve seen the nitrous Shocker in action, but it’s back and ready to tear up the track.

Shifting Focus to Small Tires

Over the years, we’ve seen a shift in the no-prep racing scene, with more and more focus being placed on small tire racing. Back in the day, big tire events at Outlaw Armageddon drew massive crowds and fierce competition, but today, small tire no-prep is where it’s at. The competition is more intense, and the racing is closer, making it a thrilling spectacle for fans and racers alike.

With more drivers and cars entering the small tire scene, it’s no wonder that events like the High Roller Shootout are becoming so popular. It’s anyone’s game out there, and even the biggest names in racing have to bring their A-game if they want to take home the prize.

What to Expect

If you’re a fan of Street Outlaws, no-prep racing, or just high-octane action in general, you won’t want to miss the High Roller Shootout. With a massive cash prize on the line and some of the best racers in the country competing, it’s set to be one of the most exciting events of the year. Will Ryan Martin continue his streak of dominance? Will Scott Taylor or Kye Kelley take home the win? Or will we see a dark horse rise to the occasion and surprise everyone?
