Chuck Seitsinger, a familiar face in the Street Outlaws world, made a return to No Prep Kings this season with his new Mustang, aptly named the "Second Amendment." This car has quickly become one to watch, despite being powered by a setup that some may consider not as competitive as others in the field— a twin-turbo 41X combination. It’s clear Chuck’s heart is in the race, and while the car may not have the top-tier power some other racers are boasting, it’s making consistent passes, and in the no-prep world, that counts for a lot.

A Look at Chuck’s Season So Far

Chuck returned to No Prep Kings in the middle of the season with the 2nd Amendment Mustang. Even though his current setup might not be what’s considered the ideal powerhouse on the NPK circuit, Chuck and his team have managed to dial the car in pretty well. The twin-turbo 41X might not be the absolute top choice for dominating the series, but consistency has been key.

Let’s face it: when you're on the track, if your opponent slips up or doesn't make a clean pass, that’s all Chuck needs to grab a win. This speaks volumes about how well Chuck’s car is performing. It’s not just showing up— it’s showing up and putting in work, making it down the track every single time.

Big Changes Ahead for the 2nd Amendment Mustang

In one of his recent posts, Chuck hinted at some exciting changes in the future for his beloved Mustang. When the finances line up, Chuck plans to upgrade the power setup. While the twin-turbo 41X has been holding its own, Chuck is considering swapping to either a screw blower Hemi or possibly a ProCharger.

For those unfamiliar, these types of combinations are much more common at the top levels of No Prep Kings racing. A ProCharger or screw blower Hemi could give Chuck’s Mustang the extra edge needed to compete with some of the faster cars in the series. But as many racers know, making a switch like this is no small feat. It requires a hefty investment— with Hemi engines costing well over $100,000 brand new, and even second-hand setups still requiring a significant financial commitment.

Building a competitive NPK car isn’t just about swapping out a motor; it’s about ensuring the entire setup works in harmony. Even with a used screw blower or ProCharger, you're easily looking at six figures when all is said and done. Not every racer has the means to constantly upgrade their car, but Chuck’s determination shows he’s willing to do what it takes to stay competitive, even if it takes time.

The Mustang's Unique Challenges

The 2nd Amendment Mustang presents its own unique challenges, mainly due to its shorter wheelbase. Fox-body Mustangs, like Chuck’s, are known for their compact size, and that can sometimes make handling trickier at the speeds required to be competitive in NPK. Shorter wheelbase cars are known to be more unstable at high speeds, which can make them more difficult to tune for consistent performance on the track.

But Chuck isn’t alone in this. Kye Kelly, one of the heavy hitters in No Prep Kings, has also moved to a shorter wheelbase car. While Kye’s new car is incredibly fast, it’s also struggled with consistency—something Chuck is well aware of. However, as we’ve seen with Chuck’s 2nd Amendment Mustang, the car’s current setup is already making consistent passes, which is a good sign for the future.

What’s Next for Chuck and the 2nd Amendment?

With the potential for a new combination on the horizon, there’s no doubt that Chuck Seitsinger’s 2nd Amendment Mustang has a bright future in No Prep Kings. Whether he makes the jump to a screw blower or ProCharger setup remains to be seen, but one thing’s for sure: Chuck is committed to making this car faster and more competitive.

For now, fans can expect to see Chuck continue to dial in his current twin-turbo setup and take advantage of every opportunity that presents itself on the track. Consistency, determination, and a little bit of luck can go a long way in the unpredictable world of no-prep racing.
